So...nobody was going to comment on the new Claymore chapter? Shame...on you guys. Shame!
Miata's new forms is having some problems with the rogue awakened being and is finally starting to feel the hunger. Clarice is making one last pitch to save Miata but I wonder how far she will go.
I've kinda wondered if he's installed regen or something into himself....
Also, [SPOILER - highlight to read]: did he imply that he tried to set up warrior candidates in situations where they'd have to engage in cannibalism of parents/yoma to survive?
I believe he did. I don't think it was implied, either. He just did not get a chance to finish his story to flesh out what he meant with those statements.
Anyway, looks like Priscilla is older looking, now. So I guess they DO grow up after becoming a warrior?
To the second one I kind of doubt it. I mean the link only worked because of Clarice and Miata's bond with one another on top of Galatea helping them. The only other way I see it working is if they use the twins method and make Miata and Claymore #2 virtually blank slates.
Though it must have been rough for Priscilla getting full off the awful tasting Awakened flesh.
Miata, having done it once, should be better at controlling it, so *maybe* doing it with 'Latea alone (or Galatea plus some other backup) may be doable.
It just strikes me... it'd be *really* useful to have an Abyssal-level power right now! This win didn't really solve any of their larger problems, it let them eliminate the *third* biggest threat they were facing. There's still Cassandra and Priscilla.
Yeah having an Abyssal level fighter on their team would be helpful but aren't the warriors still in a temp truce with the dregs of the remaining Awakened warriors? Still not so confident on Miata controlling her Awakening but it would definitely be a boon.
Speaking of which, what is Cassandra doing now? I mean I think she's back to normal but I'm not sure.
Cassandra's still fighting the remaining Awakeneds and Miria's squad.
And the awakened group remaining is all former single digits, if not as strong as Europa (who was said to be equal in power to a no 1, and was simply held back by laziness).
Uh...not sure if it was supposed to come out now but new Claymore chapter is out. [SPOILER - highlight to read]: So Clarice decided to erase herself from Miata's memories so that she wouldn't awaken out of depression. Personally I'm surprised Clarice could even do that and being able to make people forget about you does seem like an awesome ability for a warrior to have. In other news Cassandra was apparently on cruise-control prior to this chapter and now that she's actively attacking, the awakened guys bite it.
Also cheers for Dae for not dying right away and creeping Priscilla out. And something about Priscilla not eating little girls has finally come to lights. So I guess she wanted Claymores to kill her deep down or something. Oh and a guy who at the moment I'm assuming is Raki just passed by Rubel.
