I just started playing this game again, just did the Vermine planet. Game hafd gotten a bti stale while I was doing every side quest, but now it's shaping up nicely again.
However, wtf is up with the Economy in this game? I just reached the max amoutn of money we are allowed to have in the game... a mere 9 999 999.
A mere 9 mil?? You never really need that much money. Hell, I spent liberally and never really went above 3-4 mil. Not sure why that sort of limit would be a problem.
probably just programming reasons. You never realistically need more money than that, so what's the use of making it go up to 99 mil?
About all I bought that was expensive was the Spectre gear toward the end of the game. Most of my team was tricked out with Spectre stuff. Other than that, I'd get to about 2-3 million and just convert all my other stuff into omni-gel.
Just completed the game. The Credits are scrolling while I type this.
A great ending, on my second play-through I'll definitely plow through the main missions, the boring side-quests became a bit too tedious for me, BioWare has usually been much better with the sidequests in earlier games.
I agree with Smas about the ending feeling very like Star Wars, gonna go to a few saves and try the different dialogue options. I guess we can actually [SPOILER - highlight to read]: fight Saren, and not only let him blow his head off?
i fought saren at the end of my first playthrough (where i did little if any sidequests), im on my second playthrough now, and im taking the time to go through em all... enjoying the game and the various choices alot... intimidation rules...
Also, I think hear dpeople talking about how they [SPOILER - highlight to read]: killed Wrek, but when did that happen? I guess it might have been at Vermire where we were talking about destroying the [SPOILER - highlight to read]: cure for the Genophage, but I just spoke to him, aske dhim to calm down and we were all friends, is that the point Renegade players can do it?
So I was a bit surprised at seeing the new Mass Effect novel in my bookstore, having read the first one and enjoyed it (as well as the game) I'm sure I will pick it up sometime. But has anyone read it yet?
