My rant wasn't directed to you, rather the movie in general, and even then it was only mockery of Wesker going from American (RES 1) to British (every other RES game)
This initial post was just me wanting to make sure there was no misunderstanding between us if you feel I was ranting at you (Which was not my intention.)
Anyway anyone else feel movie Wesker acts like a very lame Terminator? ....Personally I'm hoping for him to yell DON'T OPEN THAT DOOR, at one point in the film.

A lame Terminator? Pretty much, yeah. Not to mention, his face seemed a little too fat and his hair was way too short.. Hence why I'd like a different actor (no offense to whoever played him in Extinction).
And I'm just hoping for him to yell CHRIIIS!!! in the next film if Mr. Redfield is in it too (they've already had Claire after all).
No I agree, they should get someone who looks more like RES 5 or RES 4 Wesker, the current actor doesn't give off the badass vibe or even a threatening one for that matter.
I expect Chris to be in a RES film, kinda strange don't 'cha think? I mean the original RES plotline revolves around Chris, hell even Capcom's promo for RES 5 was, "Chris Redfield's last story". While Wesker is the main villain of the series, Chris is the main hero; it makes no sense to not include him.
But ahh who knows, last I checked Leon was dead in the movie series before he was even met.
He actually did sound threatening with the music in the background during his dialogue and what not, but maybe that's just me.
I agree with the other parts though.
Yeah I can see what you mean he has a very blank sort of robotic expression, like he knows he's in charge and he can do what he wants, nothing sort of phases him. I guess it is that commanding manner he has it's faint but you can still see it.

I still can't get over that boring expression on Excella's face and that emotionless tone of voice when she claps and says "Bravo"... xD
Of course this was Weskers original intent, to spread the Astley Virus across the world, he never was gonna give up the world or CHRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS!!!
Capcom found that even this plot device was to disturbing and so they changed the virus from Astly to Uroboros, that's why RES 5 still has fear you will never forget on the back of the box, it was late in development when they edited Astly out, but as you can see, he would have been so horrific it would have lived with the player for the rest of there natural life.

I still think that Keanu Reeves should've played as Wesker. The actor playing Albert in Extinction didn't even remotely look like Wesker in anyway. The only way you can tell is by the glasses and that's just ridiculous.
Keanu Reeves as Wesker? Now that would've been an interesting twist , though to me, Wesker in RE5 kinda seemed like some combination of Neo and Agent Smith.
Eh, in any case, I still have some hope that Afterlife (the upcoming sequel to Extinction as pointed out earlier) may do Albert more justice.

I feel kinda surprised that no one has ever mentioned to Keanu that he looks like Wesker. You think the producers would've hired a guy like him to play the part but instead it's an actor people are less familiar with. Just who the heck is that actor anyways?
