The final creation of Thomas Light gets his recognition on this thread. He was bitchy in No.7 but finally gets his senses back in No.8.

CHEST - Accumulative Energy Generator, Micro-fusion Fuel Tank, Central Joint-controlling System,
ARMS - X-Buster (Mega Buster Mark17), Energy Amplifier, Variable Weapon System
LEGS - Gyroscopic Stabilization System, Emergency Acceleration System (Optional)
INTERIOR SKELETON - Reactive armor skeleton which reduces damage by 93 percent.
BODY SKIN - Lightweight "Titanium-X" Alloy.
WARNING: "X" is the first of a new generation of robots which contain
an innovative new feature - the ability to think, feel, and make their
own decisions. However this ability could be very dangerous. If "X"
were to break the first rule of robotics, "A robot must never harm a
human being", the results would be disastrous and I fear that no force
on earth could stop him.
Approximately 30 years will be required before we can safely confirm
his reliability. Unfortunately I will not live to see that day, nor do
I have anyone to carry on my work. Therefore, I have decided to seal

I like the original Megaman more, but I do like Megaman X it is more Cold and Mechanical then the first Megaman Game's, Just a shame they got rid of Dr. Wily.

Actually, it's been inferred several times that not only is Zero Dr Wily's creation, but that he carried a secret, one that X was made to combat. Zero was the carrier for Dr Wily's legacy, the maverick virus.

there are 62 Robot master's from Megaman, unless you count bass, protoman; the two Powered up Robotmaster's then there are 66.
