You have yet to prove Shanks is NOT a swordsman, the manga shows shanks as a swordsman, nothing more.

1.Post the scans where Shanks & WHITEBEARD said they are not serious. Or where it stateds they are not.

2.True, have we seen shanks use any other weapon besides his sword? 3.Have we read about shanks with anyother weapon besides his sword?

1. for the 17th time THE MANGA SHOWS SHANKS TO BE A SWORDSMAN! NOT LIKE THE Generic marines!

2.The Red Data Book, tells you about Shanks swordsmanship, & how he lost his sword arm, & is now using his other arm. & how he now carries his sword.

3.Shanks attack WHITEBEARD with a sword.

4.Shanks fought with Mihawk many times in the past! & now them duels are know as legends.

5.Shanks has never been seen with any onther weapon besides his sword.

6.Shanks was never metioned to have any other weapon besides his sword.

If he is skilled with a sword, he is a swordsman. wink

Also, you act as though Mihawk is not superhuman. Zoro, who has been proven to be incredibly strong, had all 3 of his swords blocked at the same time by Mihawk, who used a dinky knife.

No, they are not, a swordsmen in One Piece is one who lives by the blade. otherwise, why is kuro not called a swords men or Arlong?

I already explain this, one more time, Mihawk is the strongest swordsman, to rival his skill you must BE a GREAT SWORDSMAN! & in the Data book shanks has World Top Skills with a sword.

Now about Whitebeard, Shanks attacked the strongest man in the world with a sword, nothing else.

You just pwned yourself again, to rival Mihawk's skills you must a Great Swordsman!

No fool, Shanks attack WHITEBEARD with skill, & matched him, Unlike the generic marines, & Shanks raviled Mihawk unlike the generic marines. You must have skill to be a swordsman & Shanks has world top skills with a sword.

Shanks fought with Mihawk, & there duels are nowknow as legends.

Kuro didn't use a sword or Kuro didn't have a data book telling us about his skills with a sword.

From what is shown in the manga proves Shanks is a swordsman.
