Seriously though, with the technology, processing power, and 3d programs being at the level that they are today, why are there still 2d/3d fighting games being produced? In my honest opinion, I see games like Street Fighter as an endangered genre in the near future if design crews don't stop making these lack luster gaming engines. Think about it, PS3 has the Move tech, I forget what 360 is about to launch, and you can purchase 3D TV's with stereographic glasses. SF is a dead dog that needs to stop being kicked.

There are plenty of 3D fighting games... Street Fighter is just a good 2D fighting game series that hasn't yet run out of steam. How is it a "dead dog"?
To be honest, SF isn't all it's cracked up to be. I own the game and almost never play it because it's really no fun online. I'm old school, so I really have no qualms with 2-D fighters (hell, when I was growing up, that's all there was), but SSF4 is bull man. I wouldn't mind, for example, if Geif's UNBLOCKABLE grab didn't do as much damage as it does. This game comes down to "spam fireball, grab when they get in reach, focus cancelling, footsies, shoryuken if the bastard gets overhead." Last time I checked, that isn't fighting.
Well don't take it as me knocking the game. It's fine and I like it OFFLINE and with non serious friends, but when you go online is where most of my complaints stem. As The Strokes say- Take it or Leave it
You can't be! Good players NEVER complain about stuff like that....unless they are just tired of kickin' these same people's ass. Also, I don't have SFIV for PSN. I got MVC2, tho.

No, no, no. I didn't take any offense at the word "kiddo", I just knew a guy on this forum who use to say that alot. Most people who still use the word "kiddo" go to jail for sodomy. Just look at the statistics. I also do have MW2 on the 360 .

its a really lame and newby class set-up that griefers, noobs, and bored players use in mw2. basically involves running around the map in circles and shanking people.
