Jacob laughed a fake laugh and kept walking. "Once we get this set up, there will be a less then ten percent chance that we will even come back."
-Far out in space on a cruiser on the orbit of 'Haven'-
"Is Sergeant Book down there?" A commander asked a pilot. "Yes sir." He nodded slowly, thinking deeply. "Send out a team for him." The pilot looked back. "Don't you mean a team for all of our troops?" The Commander looked back at him and sighed. "We don't need to evacuate an entire military installation because we lost contact. They're whole planet is a climatery hell-zone." The pilot nodded and typed in the order to the computer. A dropship flew out of the ship and entered the atmosphere. Due to a malfunction, a skiv (light jeep like vehicle) broke loose and feel down to the the surface. The box it was being carried in was the only thing that saved it.

Mistara shivered as the climate rapidly decended into a frozen nightmare. He changed his suits regulater from cool to warm air pressure. It had little effect. The suit was frozen and useless. "Seargent!" He called as, from behind them the sound of the screaming became more prominent.

Jacob stopped when he saw something laying on the rocky area infront of him. Allowing Mistara to catch up with him, he crouched and zoomed in with his scope. "Looks like a Sciv, it's still opperable but is it a trap?"

Jacob surveyed the situation for a moment before speaking. "**** it." He jumped up and ran for the jeep and got to the driver's side. It was relatively undamaged and still unused. Opening the door, he found that the keys were where they should be and everything was in order.

Mistara followed, keeping tabs on the light from the Angels. He reached the jeep and climbed in the passenger side. He didnt say anything, just watched through the thickening silence, the light slowly approaching.

Jacob started the jeep and sealed his door. It was going to be a long run back to Red base, the chances of the others making it depended on the will of the Blue Sergeant. "We're not going back. We will make a straight shot for the base. If it gets too much out there, I'll need you to get on that .50."

david thought while he searched for those angels.his squad had baited it with a corpse to draw their attention.if the frendlies looked in the back, they would be in for a nasty surprise.they could probably already smell it.

the two tanks rolled down the hill covered in survivors.they had lost their ammo taking down a pack of "brutes".
"carlos, you smell somethin."
"yeah like a smell like..."
one of the passangers screamed as he was draggedinto the forest.
"carlos,jackson,lets check it out"
the three moved towards the spot where it had happened,and just as they were about to enter the forest,someone yelled"runners!"
the sound of assault rifles filled the air as a large pack of the creatures seemingly came out of nowhere from the forest.
"tanks, run em' over" yelled david as they continued firing.
an angel popped out of the treetops, but was quickly killed by the three snipers.its head exploded.
"casualty report"
((this is where you describe hearing a large battle in the distance ))

((Brutes don't travel in packs, they hunt with only one or two others. They are extremely competitive so sometime you can trick them into fighting each other. And the reason Jacob is avoiding you is because he knows alot more than any other soldier on the planet so he knows what is going to happen))
"Avoid larger groups of soldiers. Once those tanks run out of gas, the brutes will tear them to pieces." Jacob just realized what a crucial mistake he had just made. He revealed that he knew about what was going on. He kept quiet and hoped Mistara hadn't heard him. "We're going to fly straight past that large group of soldiers, and try to get the Hell-Hounds off our backs."
A new creature approuched from the outer are of the woods from behind the tanks. It seemed like it hunted using sound, and was at the least near 4 feet tall. Hundreds started to emerge into the darkness, followed along by many angels. Even a few Brutes approuched and many runns and Hell-Hounds appeared. It was the soldier's worst fear, organization of the enemy.

((oh ok, sorry  however as you said in your previous post they are organizing))
"holy ****, everyone, off the tanks,now.follow me."
they ran towards the sciv hoping to get to the secret group of scivs that they had hidden nearby.
"carlos, jackson, your with me"
david and his squad watched in horror as the new beasts tore down the other survivors one at a time. they got in another sciv and started it up.
a limb hit the window.
"carlos fire it up"he said as he got on the 50. cal
he watched as the tanks exploded and flew towards them.then, their scivs started moving.
((only two other scivs make it okay, that is other than ours))
