okay this is the story....i saw this movie about 4 month ago and i couldnt find out the title yet.
the movie takes place somewhere in new england in the 70s or earlsy 80s...i guess its boston.
its about a family of intellectuals. the father is literature professor and the mother is journalist or something like that.
the two boys are incredibly weird. the older one (about 17) is a guitarist who covers at a talent show the song hey you by pink floyd.
everybody thinks he is a great songwriter till a teacher realizes what he has done....
the younger brother (about 13) is in the puberty and starts masturbating wherever he goes. he is upset that his parents are going thru their divorce and starts drinking too....
while the mother is ****ing the tennis coach of the younger son the dad is dating one of his students.
i really enjoyed that movie and would like to own it on dvd....so if you know what movie i mean please answer.....
I am having trouble remembering a movie from I think it was the 80's. I was a little girl, but old enough to watch scary movies, because my parents had rented a vampire movie. I remember that a pretty brunette came to a castle I think because her father had passed and she had a grandmother or nanny there, but come to find out that she was a ghost! And the vampire was in love with her and I just remembering thinking that it had a lot of things about it that I liked, however, it was probably considered a B rated movie. I don't think there were any real famous people in it. And that is about all I can remember. There was a secret passage in the castle. I hope someone out there knows what movie I am referring to and can help. Thanks.

I remember pieces if it's the same movie your thinking, 1st guy gets killed fishing or something outside his motorhome, teenagers in a van, I think all but 2 get killed, in a yellow chevy van that I think has one of those dics thrown at it hitting the windshield, it hand 5 hard "nails" that extended into the victims skin and teeth that chewed on you underneath.
Now you think you got it bad? I never ****in saw the end, EVER! It was like 1982 and cable ran a 1st Choice Superchannel free week-end and my dad taped a bunch of movies and it ran out of room!!!! Talk about a ****in rip off!, the last shots I ever saw of the movie was just after the kids got away from that freaky army ******* "Sarge", then found the house, I think the guy and girl fell asleep, she wakes up and walks in a den and spins the guy around in the chair and he has one of those things on his face and hes dead.
I don't remember what happened between that and the last shots I saw of the movie before it shut off, - Their was an older guy with a shotgun in the same field were this thing had all the bodies hanging and it was at night, can't remember if he shot at the alien thing but I remember it threw a disc at him (I think it glowed in the dark) and it hit him on the left side of his chest or shoulder and started munching! He pulled out a hunting knife, cut into it killing the thing, peeled it off, and then yelled "Here" and threw it back at him. He turned to walk away and he got hit with another one on his back and then.......................???? Then it shut off! Out of tape!!! WTF!!!.....
Never seen anything past it, and always wondered what happened and to this day still don't know and I have've had the same luck as you at trying to locate the movie.
Your obviously a movie buff with a wicked memory! Reading your frustration message jogged a memory that will certainly help the search in locating it. I've never seen any of the actors in anything else and would'nt know if I did anyway. But I'm 90% sure the man in the field with the shotgun that got hit was Jack Palance.
Obviously a legend and I'm going to now hit IMDB for a listing for Palance and it should have his filmography with his profile. If its the same movie you speak of, please let me know if you find anything and I will certainly send you info if I find any.
If this is the wrong movie and someone recieved this wondering wtf I'm talking about, join the search and watch it if you find it, very intresting and original plot with a very inventive weapon. Cheers!
Im trying to find the name of a japanese[?) movie i saw years ago. It was about a man who is a master of Mask Dances. He befriends a young girl and ends up teaching her the art, even though it's forbidden for women to perform it. I guesstimate it was made early to mid 80's.
hi umm i saw this movie on sifi 8 months ago. what i know about it is there's a a couple the girl is a teacher and when her and her boyfriend are in there car driving they get into a car crash with this guy and his sister the boyfriend and the sister end up going to some hospital that no body knows about when the girl and the guy go to the cops the cops laugh and scream at them the girls student seems to know all the answers and the girl goes to her house to talk to her because she keeps seeing weird monsters

Looking for a title of an old Kung fu movie
I have been renting a bunch of old kung fu movies, Chinese connection, snake-crane secret, duel of the iron fists to name a few. I have been looking for a movie I saw back in the 70's and I don't remember the title. It was about a group vigilantly guys that wore mask and then decided to stop. They break up but have to reunite to help one of their friends. I don't remember the whole story, it was a long time ago. Perhaps someone remembers a kung fu movie like this. Sorry I don't have more information, I just remember it was a fun movie with a lot of action like most of the old school kung fu movies.
it's an animated movie I used to watch when i was younger. I think that it's from the 80s
It starts with a duchy being overthrown and the rightful princess being spirited away and hidden. I can remember the image of a crescent moon on a flag waving and then the transition to it being the actual moon.
years later a (soldier?) comes to the duchy and meets this beautiful girl who lives with a witch at the edge of a swamp. she can change into a black cat and is the rightful princess.
that's all I can remember. Hopefully someone knows this one. I've tried everything to find it.

I think the name of the kid and the movie is "Conrad". It was from the late 80s early 90s. I cant find any info on it from IMDB. i wanted to rent this movie and another one from the same time period called "The boy who loved trolls" with Sam Waterston. But netflix and blockbuster have very limited titles when it comes to weird stuff like this. Am I right about Conrad? Thank you! and you guys rock!!

all i know is that it was about this lake and there was a mill at the side of the lake and every time it spun a thing came out the lake and everyone was scared of it. In the end they find out that it's an old digger.. can any one help and tell me what the name of this movie is thanx.....
