The movie came out in the late '70s or early '80s and was kind of like predator.
It was not big budget and I only saw it once at a drive-in. The predator threw things that looked like floppy frisbees.
Here's a little brainteaser for movie fans. I saw a movie on tv as a child in the late 80's from which I can only remember this part so you're not going to get much help.
There was a scene where a giant statue/monster was killing people. It was enormous, like a tower compared to people, and it was brown/golden/orange and its skin was covered with plates of different sizes. People manage to fight back (or kill) the statue/monster by ripping one of the plates of located somewhere near its ankle (at least that's what I think). And lots of "red blood" was coming out.
There might have been lots of sand in this scene, but I'm not sure. And if my memory doesn't fail me, it was shaped like a human. And the movie was in colour and it was definitely made before 1989.
Any suggestions/hints/etc are welcome and really appreciated.
It's been a long time since I saw it, so I may be miss-remembering some details. Vaguely I would say it is about a retired assassin living alone in his apartment (lonely) and one day a very young girl from another apartment sees him and tries to be his friend. He rebukes her at first but ends up teaching her how to shoot a gun. The guy has a close scruffy beard (I think) and I thought the girl sort of looked like scarlett johansson or natalie portman. Ideas?
Ok so its been killing me for a while. I am trying to find out the name of a movie. I saw it many times long ago. from what i remember in this movie in specific instences. there is what i think to be a space ship under ground in the yard of this house. there are creatures in the ship and there is one mother creature. i believe when people are captured down there there is something to do with a needle that goes in their neck or back or something... there is also a boy who i think is the main character i remember that these monsters were afraid of or their weakness was copper or something like that and he used pennies as a weapon can anyone tell me what movie that is?
one is a couple of years old and in it a family move into a house on a cliff and the little girl goes behing the rock at the end of the garden and vanishes?
and secondly is a film i thought was barbarella but isnt...
all i can remember is that the people had gills behind their ears and the person in the film was given the choice of wheather or not to get the gills like everyone else had?
Alright! This isn't really a trivia because I don't even know the answer to this question but, I will like to know! All I know is that it's a martial arts movie that I think came out in the 90's. The plot is that u see this guy with long black hair (looks like Antonio Banderas) going around and fighting all the masters of different styles to prove he's number one. He does this with a silver metal sleeve on his finger and wins every one. At the same time there's somebody else following his path to try to get him. At the end of the movie there's a final face-off between him and the guy who been chasing his path throughout the whole movie to I guess, arrest him.
If anybody knows the name of this movie, please let me know asap for I can go ahead and buy this movie! Thank-you!

Need some help remembering a SW Spoof movie..
I saw a preview last year for a movie, a star wars spoof, basically. It was about these kids that were trying to steal The Phantom Menace a year early or something, possibly because one of them didn't know if they could make it, or just for the hell of it.... but anyway, I didn't see anything about it after that preview, and I can't for the life of me remember its name so I could try to find out more about it. Does anyone on here know what it is? (It's not 5-25-77, another movie that I don't know what happened to)
Hey i'm trying to member a thriller with a plot incredibly similar to flightplan. A woman's children disapear, and no one remembers they existed and think she's crazy. Then her husband disapears (I think) or maybe he forgets that he knows her.
