The Obscure Tourney

Ok The rules are very simple.

You can only pick character's who've never had thier own series, and who have appeared less than 50 times in the last 2 years.

You must have 3 Highmeta-Mid Herald lvl characters who's abilities must not over lap in any way other than Strength and durability.

I don't know if anyone would be intersted in this type of tourney, But I'm hoping to get a time limit on it so that It doesn't last too long for each Round.

Now each team will consist of Three posters and each poster must represent only one of the obscure characters.

If you are intersted in being on a team then please let me know in this thread.

I'm only looking for 5 teams and 3 judges. I prefer the Elitist or the trinity to volunteer to judge. i can trust that they will be evil to everyone equally. 🙂 And they know alot about comics.

I'd also like to whittle down the teams by a death of a character each round. To be voted on by the judges as to which character would get killed in the rounds, which will all be bloodlusted.

Not going to happen... me thinks. 🙂

What if they were a character who only appeared in someone elses miniseries, or they were in a miniseries that didn't have any particular main character?

oh! I LOVE obscure characters. they're the only kind I make versus threads about. I'd be down, if more people are joining.

well get the movement going. I'd love to see mungi beat everyone to hoy hell with machine man lol. Or one of those alpha flight guys. or someoen who knows Gl's really well come in and wreck shop with an obscure GL.

Ok So if you'd like to make a go of it, then Please sign up, if we can't get three to a team, we can do two to a team, Or I can modify the rules so that one person can pick all three characters. PM me with your picks and I'll make sure they fit into all catagories

True, But It will take some time for people to come up with that many cool obscure characters. So I was figuring this one wouldn't get off the ground for a bit. Research is going to be a ***** to have enough to post for an obscure character. You gotta find old showings, try to prove points by using other characters, ect.
