G.i. Joe score details (warning possible spoilers)
just found the track listings
WOOO HOOO at least it's 70min worth of music not like wolverine, star trek, terminator and transformers who only have 40-45min
And it's done by Alan Silvestri, who did Predator, the Abyss, Van helsing
so hopfully it will be a fantastic score which will be better than the 4 movies above combined.
Pity the movie is suppose to be incredibly INCREDIBLY rubbish apparently from people who have seen it.
As for Transformers, I got my sequel score music this time around, missed the first movie's score and now it's out of print, had to download it and put it onto CD, but not with the sequel. Shame it's not as memorable as the first movie's music.
Again it depends on how the movie is put together and if it flows well.
I am very hopefull that Global Information: Joint Operating Entity will be a great film better than Wolverine, Star Trek, Terminator, and Transformers, but will have to wait and see.
I missed the first Transformers Score too and it wasn't avalible in any stores in Canada. So i had to download it. I got the promotional CD and a few months later the actual CD and there is another complete score out, but it seems to be missing the music leading up to blackout's first transformation and the highway chase.
Really? Even with your Nick SnakeEyes ,you think it will be terrible?
I think and hope it will be 1000 times better than Revenge of the Fallen,
Essentially it will be what's the word people use? Sleeper movie? where people think it will suck and it surprises every one.
Well, I hope you're right man! I'll probably go see the movie with some friends and keep an open mind, but I haven't been impressed with the trailers so far.
Hey look at the bright side it CAN'T be any worse than Revenge of the Fallen. Right?
and the track titles look promising and if silvestri's music is what it used to be that will draw you into the movie more.
and it's directed and writen(story) by Stephen Sommers who
directed deep rising, the mummy, and van helsing
and wrote for the same as well as the mummy tomb of the dragon emperor.
Which in my opinion were pretty good flicks that did a good job of taking you out of reality, so you could enjoy them as popcorn flicks.
Unfortunatley they way Revenge of the Fallen was put together and presented with a couple of annoying characters it took you out of that element right after they left china, so myself i wasn't emmersed in the film any longer, but sommers seems to be able to accomplish that in his movies. Where as Bay is a hit and a miss if he can do that.
Really? I wonder if it will be Ray Parks voice?
I meet him at the end of April in Calgary and asked him if he takes his helmet off, and he said he couldn't answer that.
This is why movies tend to change things from comics and books, to give a different angle so you can get a little different experience by either watching the movie or reading the books and comics.
Some times it's for the better and sometimes not.
Any way wasn't Snakeeyes a hand to hand combat instructor? how can he truly instruct well if he can't talk?
Theoretically speaking if it is a popcorn flick as you call it then it should be way better than Transformers 2 as the director of GI Joe seems to do better job of drawing you into the movie so you are able to suspend disbelief.
