Which are two movies I like.
And if done right, it would all work together flawlessly(well, using the plot in my mind, anyways).

sounds good to me.this post of yours will probably go ignored though. I never read the Ironman comics, could you tell me about those villains you mentioned? are they more or less dangerous than that robot villian that Bridges played in the movie? what do they look like? do yo have any pics of them you could post by chance?
Since when have robots been men inside of suits?

People this thread is getting violent! everyone need to calm down and respectfully accepts everyone opinion about the given topic and try not to insult each other. Also I do feel that we need to stay on topic and not run off on a tangent about other things, that's why there are other threads in this forum.
So moving on -
I think that the best villain for the Iron Man sequel should be either Mandarin or Controller.
The Mandarin I believe will be the villain in the sequel. Also there has been talk that the Alcohol storyline may be done as well. I thoroughly enjoyed and loved Iron Man and look forward to watching more of them.

Still chuckling at Iron Monger being a robot.

i'm pretty sure it's Mandarin
i just wonder how they're going to explain his powers,
will it be exactly like the comics? or will they put a "movie-spin" on things?

I've never liked the Mandarin/magic-powers thing. If they do go with him, I hope they break away from canon.

Favreau has already said he finds The Mandarin dated, so it's going to be hard to portray him.

They could use him, just make him a non-magical alien overlord or something. Though I'd prefer some other villain.
Edit: What's the Hulk villain with the huge gamma enhanced head and brain? He'd be a cool villain for Stark.
2nd Edit: The Leader.

And yet, the Mandarin is hinted in the first movie. I'm sure Favreau said that to throw people off.

I don't know how they could make Mandarin realistic in the movies without destroying everything that makes him cool in the comics. I mean he's basically a wild kung fu villlain like The Beast from Kung Fu Hustle combined with the sort of world destroying mad scientist types you see in old James Bond flicks. Even if you ignore the rings, he's pretty wild. All his defining traits are pretty wild. And if you ignore everything, well he's not really The Mandarin anymore.

Well, there are other villains that could be used. I'd just like for whatever villain they use to survive so he can be used later in the franchise.
