"You don't have to attack them, you gain nothing from that...", "Yes I can!". Doesn't make sense, do you know why? I'll tell you.
He didn't say you can't critique them, he didn't even say you can't attack them, he simply said you DON'T HAVE to attack them, there's a big difference. I think attacking people for making a poor movie is ridiculous and sad.
A little more reading, a little less knee-jerk.
That said, at least you don't have eight year long personal vendettas against movies or companies...like some.
Why? That's not personal, they didn't kill a family member.
They stopped making comics you enjoyed so you stopped reading. Why is that anything to get personal over? Sadness.
I was more referring to the actions of promoting your sheer, gut-churning hatred for a single movie for the stupidest reasons, like someone who posted in this thread.
You guys have no right to attack WD!!!!! because he voiced his opinion, he wasn't attacking them.
He has every right to say the past Marvel movies sucked and currently they are moving into the right direction. It's WD's hard earned cash he used on those movie tickets/rental and it's his opinion to say the past movies did suck.
I agree with him because I used my money to watch those shitty Marvel films also.

They kill the fan in me. That's a crime in my book. They didn't stop making the comics I like. They stop making sense. You do know there is a difference between a fan and a fanatic, right? If not, I'll explain it to you.
A fan can be critical, observant, and known the character much longer than the writers even possibly the creator.
A fanatic (or in other terms "fanboy) is an idiot with no common sense that sucks up EVERYTHING and have no common sense or even a critical point of view. That's sadness.
In conclusion....an a very arrogant and demanding geek. Counter argue that...
I gain support by other fans who happen to agree with me. So.... Nah-nah-nah! In yo face!
Dude, like what you like and express it here. Others will read it and either agree or disagree and they will also express it here. So on and so on... that's all this is. (I'm making the fundamental case here, just so everyone's on the same page.) Why is there pointless bickering about this? I hate the Spider-Man movies, but I liked Daredevil. Jump on me for that? No. Just my opinion. I prefer darker, more real type movies instead of stuff aimed at the mainstream and little kids. Most people disagree with with me, and i'm fine with it. I like to hear points of views and I enjoy debating these points, not a problem. Once people start getting serious about it, like their lives depend on this movies, it just becomes ridiculous. Agree to disagree and that's it.

So why was it beyond you, an adult man, to just move on with life? What did you hope to gain by carrying a life-long personal hate vendetta against Marvel? How do you see that as anything but sad? Why not just ignore them completely?
No they can't, some writers maybe, but not the creator. They can think they can, but that's called being pretentious and moronic.
If you would walk up to Stan Lee and say "I know more about the characters you made than you do.", you'd be an idiot. It's like when Jodie Foster refused to play Clarice Starling in Hannibal because she claimed Clarice wouldn't act the way she did. Thomas Harris, the writer and creator said "Yes, she would, because she's my creation. She would, and will act, however I say she will.". That's how it goes. Fact.
You just happen to have a delusional sense of entitlement, which I find hilarious. The most you are entitled to is critique the comics. You're not "arrogant", you're just anal and delusional when it comes to what you feel you are entitled to, and what is a sensible reaction to a company not catering to your likings anymore. Rather than just stop buying the comics and watching the movies, and moving on, you continue to. Just so you can whine. THAT'S worse than being a fanboy, or at least as bad. That's like people who watch violent movies then moan about the violence.
Wait, I just re-read that quote. How can a fan know a character longer than the creator? "I have JUST created Spider-Man!", "I've known him longer.". Explain this.
So is carrying a vendetta toward a comics company for more than a decade, that's truly sad. That's worse than being a fanboy, because at the very least they are interested. "I don't like Marvel, or want anything to do with them, but I'll spend the next 12 years slagging them off and directing hatred toward them.". Yes, that's clearly much better. It's not even like you are paying money out of objective interest, then coincidentally not liking what you've paid for. You are paying to *****, and that is ridiculous.
Plus, I'd honestly love to see you act like you aren't a Batman fanboy. You've lapped up EVERY single movie they've ever put out and said it was good.
