"But he is evil!" Gremon shouts. "I have sensed a great darkness in him. You cannot trust him."
"Silenssse!" Mither yells, his voice cracking. "Reynal, take this offensssive reptile out of my sssight. Do not feed him, do not tend to his woundsss, do nothing to comfort him! He will pay for his crimesss in time."
Reynal grunts in acknowledgement and roughly drags the captive Prince from your grip, off toward a separate section of the base.
"Now," Mither says. "We mussst talk in private. I want to know much about you, and I am sure ssseek to know of our caussse."

"Yes, I am... quite eager to speak with you," Dak says, watching Reynal carry Gremon off. "Just so we're clear... Gremon's fate is mine," he growls, "I defeated him and chose to let him live. Every decision concerning him has to go through me."
Dak presumably follows Mither to where they can speak in private.

Mither frowns at this. "He isss my prisoner now. What isss done with him no longer concernsss you, though you can be asssured that if hisss execution comesss, I will allow you to handle him in whatever method you choossse."
Mither looks to Pade. "Join usss, friend. Invite your men to rest in the barracksss. I understand they have fought well. I require detailsss."
Pade nods and dismisses his forty soldiers, telling them to rest-up and seek any medical attention they may need for minor wounds.
With that, Mither guides you into a small room that has been carved out of the rock for himself. Once you are in- Dak, Wraith, Ker'Raos, Pade, and the Great Leader Mither So'Ngah- the door closes behind you, leaving you in darkness until Mither switches on a pale light panel overhead.
"Now, we talk," Mither says, seating himself upon a comfortable chair. "Explain to me how you have come about these... abilitiesss that you have. And why have you come to Arnia? You are accompanied by Outsidersss. Your dialect and apparel is not of this world, but the Galaxy beyond."

Dak looks around for another chair and sits. "As far as I know, the Force can be used by anyone with the knack for it. And bloodlines seem to carry this ability. I probably had the skill because I am related to the Royal Family. Anyway, Gremon hired a group of mercenaries to kill the Kaliero family. Turned out they were Jedi, powerful in the Force, and they sensed my potential. They kidnapped and trained me, to hone my potential into true ability.
"I later killed them. They were weak. I've lived since then out in the Galaxy, on several planets, among many species. These two are examples. Wraith is a... partner, for the time being. Ker'Raos is something of an apprentice.
"I've returned to Arnia because the Force has called me here. I received a vision, telling me that I would lead an army against the Royal Family." He gestures around to indicate the rebel base. "I think it's pretty clear."

Mither does not seem terribly convinced, and already you can sense that he feels threatened by you. He recognizes that you naturally possess greater physical prowess than he can hope to attain and the supernatural powers of the Force.
But he carries on.

Wraith knows he could do so much better in dealing with Mither, but he cannot in his current state. He is also resentful of the Outsider status he has been labeled with.

Wraith, you feel that this stay on Arnia will be more difficult than you imagined. If these are his reasons for waging war, then it is very clear that he hates anything that isn't Arnian, including you.
Ker'Raos shifts uncomfortably.

"Mossst excellent," Mither says. He then turns his large black eyes to Pade. "Report. How many sssoldiersss did you return with?"
"Forty, sir..."
"I sssent you to unite with the revolutionariesss in Meja'Tsid. There should have been hundredsss, Pade Kaliero. What hasss become of their leader?"
"Gremon had slain him already. The Royal Army had moved shortly before we arrived. They were fighting in the streets, disorganized and dying. I organized the survivors in their retreat and we set up a defensive in the water mines, but our numbers were relatively few. Gremon's Army outnumbered us, and he is a fearsome leader. But... we were rescued from a complete massacre. These three warriors entered the fray and broke their attack before it had begun, taking away their concentration at great risk to their own lives. If it were not for them, I may have been the only survivor. And even that is questionable."
Mither nods, watching you as Pade gives his report.
Strangely, Dak, Pade's report makes you somewhat sick to your stomach. He makes you sound so heroic and... good.

Dak grimaces silently. He had attacked because he needed those damn soldiers alive to serve his own purposes. He hadn't been saving lives; he'd been rescuing tools. Tools he would have no issue killing himself, if it would benefit him.
"Please, Pade, no. I'm no hero. We did it because I thought it was the right thing to do," he says, tactfully telling the truth in this instance.
