This needs a bit of refining but its the first thing I've written in ages so:
In silence, I wait patiently,
Hoping for all that I lack.
Staring up into the heavens,
I realise she has blessed me.
For the things that I wish for,
I already have.
Blessed I am and greatful,
When ever I see a glass half empty,
In truth I really know, its half full.
The gifts I have been given in this life,
Are my faithful and wieldy tools.
Feeling the doubt that I have failed,
I know truly that I haven’t.
I know I'll fight through it all,
I know that I'll prevail.
So in Silence, I wait patiently,
Thoughtful and aware.
I seek not her approval,
But just to know sometime,
She is there and that she hears my prayers.
