Smurph vs. Akuki discussion thread

Just setting this up as a call for judges and to finalize the rules with Akuki. This can serve as a comment thread as well, obviously.

This'll be Spider-Man vs. Caerula Sanguis

Needless to say, I'm not the one taking the manga character.

Colliseum where WWH made the gladiators fight in new york.

I'd be fine with Hyrule, except that it's 2D, and I'd rather have a battlefield I've seen in 3D

How about the colliseum in Rome? Both fighters start out at opposite ends.

As far as the .5 kilometers, it isn't particularly necessary, nor is it excessive.

Spiderman is also pretty much pure close quarters combat plus his webbing.

As far as his webbing goes, what does it matter if you start a half kilometer, or an eighth?

Further - choose the battlefield carefully. I dunno about Caerula, but Spiderman's formidibility can heavily depend on the battlefield. He is much less impressive when in an 'arena' setting versus when he is in an urban one.

dur you. Let it be known that I am dubious about her being low meta. I would like her V-mutation bite to be turned off for the sake of fairness.

And I'll co-sign that the arena could decide the match.

I'm not trying to attack you. It's just my opinion and observation, after watching you judge other matches, that you rarely choose to put personal biases aside and vote objectively. 😬.

Also in regard to spiderman I'm fine with you using the version that was around just before OMD. Are you using the iron spidey version or regular spidey?
