i'd mentioned this before and i was under the impression red had ok'd it. just wanted to double check.
will there be a brief period at the end of the 3 rds where we are able to switch out a character we have for a character that has NOT been picked?
ie--bran wanted to switch out northstar for ww but couldn't do so. that makes sense to me because the drafting isn't done. however, were she to go unpicked after all the drafting is done (and she were selected before the final deadline) THEN he would be able to do so. at least that's kind of the impression i had of what i thought was going to happen.
i think that was changed to something whereby you can trade characters with other participants, say for example, you traded me sersi for firestorm or something...
i dont know if we can bring in unpicked chars, though im not sure...
IMHO, while trading would be cool we shouldn't be able to bring in heretofore undrafted characters except to replace a character who has been challenged or banned. A player who switches for a totally new character after the draft would gain an unfair advantage by choosing with knowledge of other players' complete line-ups.

Can somebody post a list of participants in this tourney? I'm trying to take out multiple birds with one stone, and I'm updating some roster stuff in the tourney respect thread. A lot won't get posted until the tourney ends, obviously, but the most annoying busy-work is keeping participant tallies in order, and I'd like to do it now for all the current tournies.

that's cool with me. like i said before -- it added a cool element while everyone was around watching if everyone was gonna switch someone out and then the switched out character could be claimed by someone new. it was pretty fun.
the trading characters thing likely won't happen, imo. too many plans created around the drafted characters.
on a slightly related topic -- i just somehow noticed that lam claimed a time-specific version of spidey. i assume to have access to the armor. i wasn't aware that was possible. if it IS, would any of you object to my amending my pick slightly and specifying a PRE-IC version of jay garrick?
his powers remain identical, but none of that nonsense with the speed force happened at that point and any scans i come up with will be from before IC anyways.
so, does anyone object?
and one last point: if jay is the speed cap, i'm curious how frankie raye is allowed. she can certainly move at multiples of light speed. for that matter, wonder woman is likely faster than jay as well.
