it'd be interesting if Surfer does end up more ruthless than Galactus' would want.

Galactus' plan for Surfer seems to be to make him Galactus' "silver bullet" as well as conscience and restraint. he favours him above all others and endures a lot of Surfer's moralising as a result of this conception of The Surfer being the one to end Galactus, when it eventually becomes necessary.

imagine if after all these years, Surfer turns evil/ruthless, a bit like eXiles Surfer... especially now that Galactus has boosted Surfer's powers and removed more of the mental constraints Surfer had on them.
