I'd say Star Trek merits a trial run if we go by the poll results. Wasn't that the point of the poll in the first place?

I expected all proponents of a Star Trek forum to grab any opportunity to gain posts with both hands to prove us wrong. However, in the recent debates on Star Trek, only 11 different posters contributed. So, I' m wondering about those other 20.

Maybe other people like me don't know how to add to the argument so kept quiet.

14 movies, 5 TV shows, comics, novels and a cartoon. What is preventing you to create a thread(s) where you can actually add to the argument?

Star Trek transcends all of Sci Fi. Without Star Trek, there are many sci fi shows that would not have made it. There is way too much of Star Trek to talk about. I sincerely hope that Raz oks at the very least a trial run for a Trek forum. I believe it will thrive and therefore merit a permanent place here on KMC. All the fans and non fans will be able to find it on a daily basis and continually post. I wouldn't have a problem talking to people that don't like Star Trek, as I would try to assimilate them into a wondrous world. Other than a 6ft tall woman, Star Trek is my true love.

To be honest a few mods are against it so I can see him not making it.

I'm sure he is taking his time weighing the pros and cons of having at least on a trial basis a Trek forum.

Perhaps some people don't know about this discussion thread, but I try to rectify that.

Which was something I pointed out tends to happen - people will vote for the forum and then never even post in it. I'm not at all surprised.

Star Trek deserves a forum just as much as Star Wars did.
I'm an active poster in the Star Wars forum and you know I'd be active on a Star Trek forum.

I think we should have a Bardock forum.

I think we should have a Bardock forum too.
I'm an active poster in the Video Game forum, so you just know I'd be an active poster in a Bardock forum, too.
