I haven't read the X-Wing series, and I meant that I would get bored if all I had interest in was the Sith vs. Jedi gumf.

As for plot holes, I haven't seen any holes, DS. And yes, though Krayt did a little bit of organizing to get things his way, his was a militant coupe more or less, with lots of 'I will kill you if you do not cooperate, trust me on this.'

As for the Solo clan, I'm guessing that Roan Fel is descended from Jaina Solo...
