whats the point of apologising if you dont even mean it? but again.. what does it matter.

please continue to post here, just dont type anymore accusations until you've read they're post properly. thats all i was saying.

Well I dunno what the Germans had before the game but I could do with a pint.

Two totaly different teams came out yesterday.

Portugal were a shadow of their group stage performance, so many bad passes, wild long distance shots at goal, complacent defense and a general "canīt be bothered" sort of look about them. Dunno if this had something to do with Scolari leaving or they just couldnīt handle the Germans early attacking in midfield. But even in this form they managed two goals. Im glad they lost after seeing Ronaldoīs delayed
painfull acting.

Germany were amazing and went for the throat from the start and Schweini played like a man possesed, and the tactical aspect was spot on. The 3rd goal by Ballack was a foul though, he pushed the defender in the back.

No need to do a "na na na na na" AC you childish dick, the "luck" comment was bait for you, I donīt believe in luck, congratulations on biting AGAIN Happy Dance Happy Dance laughing laughing

I don't deal with luck because I know enough about football to not make such silly claims like "You make your own luck, it doesn't exist." and "Germany aren't that good.".

It's ok, you'll know as much as me one day.

I, for one, pray for that sweet day...

I hope Croatia or Holland win the tournament. Please not Germany or Italy...Please!

PS. I've been enjoying the Guardian Football Daily podcast, but I had the misfortune of listening to the 5 Live one with Danny Baker; it made me want to kill people.

Well, was an alright game. Nice ending. And some fun scenes throughout...I think for Germany it is better that Turkey won.

lulz. Boring game, punctuated with an abnormally exciting finish. Turkey shouldn't be here, but they manage to scrape by, so Germany should be the favorite but I won't be shocked if Turkey pulls a Greece here.

Are you serious?

They did well against teams like Sweden who pretty much depend on Ibrahimovic having a good day yes or no, and Greece, who are shit.
They went flat on their face against a team like Spain who aren't afraid to play attacking football.

I'm saying 3-1 in Holland's favour.

I doubt Ill ever be as lucky rolling on floor laughing
Why donīt you be brave enough to make some predictions, fence sittereek! I see Brasil are doing well in the world cup qualiīs laughing

What the hell are Turkey playing at, trying to make Football more dramatic or what. You have to give em credit for fighting to the end though.

Looking forward to the Rusky v Dutch clash, and even after ACīs criticism I am still brave enough to predict a 4:2 win for the cloggies.
Mainly because the Dutch have a better goaly imo.

Croatia were exposed for what they are (although I did already do it a page back). With Eduardo they would have won. Good ending though.

Russia on song are amazing. Their attacking play in the last game was better than anything Holland or Spain have done (not much in the case of Spain).

They're not doing well, they're not really doing "shit" either, just playing pretty far under their standards because their team is in a transitional period at the moment. They'll sort it out, I feel. They've almost got too much talent than Dunga knows what to do with, like Barca had.

I wouldn't feel as cheated if Turkey won the thing as I did with Greece. Greece were shit, playing shit. Turkey have the kind of spirit in an entire team that people would like you to believe is in England. They all seem aware that no one man is going to make this work. So at least we'd have to champions who weren't prepared to just win, but win with a bit of drama and talent (Of which they have some).

Expecting a Holland win this game, but I feel they may be this tournament's Argentina. Peaked very early, undeniable (I think) favourites based on THAT, but when it comes to to winning the one game that matters and moving on; I'm still saying Germany.
