The second scan shows the intention of the writter as in EARTH/MOON DWARF IN SIZE TO MAGGEDON

Dwarf is the KEY word here, not "slightly smaller" DWARF

Your own picture proves how inaccurate scaling is in comics at times. If we go exactly by it, the JLA members are what, the size of continents?

I've seen the planet drawn the size of a moon once when Thor flew by it.

Anyways, here's Mageddon right besides the planet Earth. Certainly doesn't seem significantly bigger. The little glowing flashes getting caught in the beam? Those are people. Human sized people.

Mageddon had reached Earth by this point as I recall. It didn't even block out the entire sky. Just by looking up you could see where the majority of it's body ends.

Remember?

Earth/Moon system DWARF in comparasion to Maggeddon

Your scan does not shows DWARF as the intention of the writter

Your scan shows =

Not what the writter intended

Plus most showings of Maggedon show his eyes to be as big as a sun in the sunset.

While I agree that scaling is hard in comics it was the intention of Morrison to create a Weapon bigger than earth and the moon system

This "weapon" was standing in a gravity sink hole at the end of the universe. and it was bigger than Wonderworld

Why don't WE use the other showings and try to come up with an average?

I'm sure is bigger than that

You don't seem to understand that I couldn't care less about how big Mageddon is.

Picking and choosing scenes from comic pages, and using scaling to give an object a definitive size just to make Superman look impressive is idiotic either way you look at it.

If you stick to using that as evidence of it being as big as Jupiter, I'm going to use your own logic to argue that's it Earth sized at best.

I also couldn't care less what Morrison intended or what his hyperbole -that almost always ends up making villains anticlimactic- says.

Fine. It''s Earth sized and even bigger -if that's what you want to hear- but not to the extent it equals Jupiter.

At least someone cared enough to disprove Fageddon dwarfing a solar system.

I don't see why you get upset about it

Mageddon was said to dwarf the earth and moon systems, It actually show it on panel. Several times.

It also said that is was bigger than Wonderworld and that it destroyed 3 moons in the initail attack.

I can see you point onto not using scale from comics because is not the best accurate system, but Here I am using both, Panel showing and intention of the writter, which in Sci Fi intention of the writter is > showing on the panel.

Is not that I just pick this up from a random place and said "mageddon is this size" It is based on two things:

Intention of the writter and showing on the panel

Plus I believe something called the ANTI-SUN will be much biger than barelly bigger than earth.

Fageddon was never the size of a solar system

It dwarf the earth and moon system, which means that they look like dwarfs compared to Fageddon.

Something that will make the earth/moon system dwarf will be at LEAST NEPTUNE OR SATURN SIZE

This seems pretty big to me, specially if you consider that Mageddon is in space not even in earth's orbit maybe even beyond the moon
