Thank you, i dedicate this to the first poster, and i am focusing more in Goku childhood, because mostly is a whole lineal history, a diference with comics who has diferent writers, Goku have a Journey from the beggining to the end.
About your petition, we are close to the second tournament, and i would do it litlle by little, it takes time.
When I read the first page from someone joking saying “Does Goku deserve respect?” or something like that, even tough I know it was a joke, give me the motivation to do this, Goku is different from comics heroes, because he did not get a cosmic power, he does not get his power from the sun, he was not hit by a ray in a laboratory for his speed, he is not a son of a God, etc he gain his power through exercises and training, and DB show that part that is not show in DBZ, his motivations too.
Another one of my motivation is for many that had Watched DBZ, but did not follow DB, is for them to know that Goku was already fast and strong since the first chapter, I read before that some think that Goku has Sound speed since DBZ because Raditz caught a Bullet, well that is wrong, Goku has that speed when fighting Red Ribbon Army, just after the first tournament and his strength is enough to lift a car (please log in to view the image)

I like that map of the DBZverrse but oen thing i want to know, what is Maikai ?? its at the bottom, by the looks of it outisde the mainstream universe, like the supreme kais planet, whih is surrounded by suns ?? i thought t was moons, its moons in the anime is it suns in the manga ?
Thanks Vvendeta and sorry if I disturbed your posting, this is a slap to the face for endless_mike and others who underestimate dragon ball z. Anyway, KAIOHSHIN Planet is not a part of after life, its in another realm or universe just like the map shows.
In terms of energy, I don't remember modern-superman and silver surfer have enough energy to reach or disturb another dimension.
Before someone reacts, I'm not a biased person and I know Goku is not the strongest but the feat from above is undeniably fact.

That map is mostly the afterlife universe, and the kai o shin world is a dimension that orbit around the afterlife universe, including heaven and hell,(maikai means orbit) below is the mortal universe
I rather better dont talk about other characters, and i have show this to them in the superman vs Goku long ago.

I know how much you hate Dragon Ball but the scans proved it and its undeniable. Gohan was training in the kaiohshin kai and Kibito WAS NOT MONITORING THE MORTAL REALM, most importantly it was stated that HE CAN'T BELIEVE THEY CAN FEEL HIS ENERGY FROM KAIOHSHIN KAI. In otherwords, its an INVOLUNTARY SENSING OF KI when they felt SSJ3 Goku's energy in kaiohshin kai.
You're only basing it on dub and not the manga, that's bad. You're just playing your role as hardly pretender in dragon ball manga.

Someone sensing you in another dimension is not a feat for you. We already know ki can travel between dimensions, we knew that at least as early as the Saiyan saga. It can't actually influence things across dimensions, it's not as if Goku could shoot a ki blast from earth and hit someone on the Kaioshin planet.
Learn to read. I only mentioned the dub name for the benefit of people who hadn't seen anything else. I pointed out that it was Hell in the translated manga, and Makai in the original Japanese.
