I just have to say this game really bummed me out. I'm sure it is quality, but I just don't like mmo's and after playing Kotor 1 and 2 I was looking forward to a 3rd installment continuing the Revan/Exile story.
Worst thing is after a while the game became free to play, and from people I know who played it..it plays a lot like a single player experience. Will they ever give us a Kotor 3?

Depends on how profitable this was. In light of what little I know about their sales model, and the recent changes in canon thanks to Didney Wurl, I'd say no.
This is a shame, and Disney stopped production on the Bounty Hunter game as well. I wonder if the days of good Star Wars games are behind us.

I'm sure we'll get more good star wars games, just most will likely be multiplayer. Since EA last I checked still has dislike for single player games. (assuming they hold the licence)

So I was one of two veterans on a GSF match on my team with at least half the other team consisting of hardened veterans. I got one of two of our teams kills and was depressed at the current score 15 - 2. Suddenly my wireless mouse loses charge after two years and gives me a reason to leave that crap match. I know my team died horribly
[SPOILER - highlight to read]: A new even biggerer Empire attacks out of nowhere with a new even badderer Immortal Emperor and beats up the Empire AND Republic and demolishes the Jedi and Sith.
Eh, I wouldn't shit all over it just yet. Even the reveal was kind of vague. it could be good.
I'd wait til E3 to see more.

I recently finished the Agent story, and only have to complete the Smuggler and Bounty Hunter story to have experienced all of the class stories. Feeling proud of it.

Yeah I am going to hold off on the reveal for this one- it could be a reallllly big deal.
SWTOR is the only game of this ilk that I've managed to get my friends to get any sort of commitment into, partly because of the Star Wars vibe (with the Bioware storytelling schtick- not that we always like their stories but it works well enough) but partly because it's pretty convenient to play; you only need one friend online to do nearly all the group content (as opposed to, say, Guild Wars 2, where you need four friends online at once and that just doesn't happen with our schedules these days). To see this one get expanded/reworked would be pleasing.

Ush, do you pay monthly or are you doing the free version? Been interested in trying this again but if the free version is as crap as I remember then I probably won't bother.

I subbed very briefly when the last xp came out (because you can get your first ever month for about £2) but I am 99% free to play. It's nowhere near as bad as I had feared- nearly every restriction can be bought off with the in-game money and the levelling speed is fine.
The one month sub also allowed me to buy off the remaining restrictions in-game(except PvP which I don't care about and Ops which I don't have the ability (i.e. friends around) to play anyway), and also allowd me to add the authenticator, giving me 125 coins a month even as a free player (to be more precise, I am Preferred, which you get by buying any expansion anyway and knocks out a bunch of restrictions in of itself, like the toolbars).
