all right, so scoob still wants to putz around in our match for a bit. he assures me we'll be done by tuesday though so . . . blame him for the lull in the action and the delayed voting.
I have most of my 10th post done already, so whenever you guys go, I'll throw mine into the ring as well. I'll likely respond to Scoob's last post a bit, but mostly I want to wrap things up for judges.

is that cdb/smurph match done? and are we pausing this thing til after christmas (assuming we're involved)? can't imagine votes would be in until at least a week after both matches are finished. if both go a couple more days that would be right around christmas eve. personally, doesn't really matter to me. a time limit should now be instituted though, imo. these matched have gone PLENTY long an a lull is not cool. maybe wednesday? then judges can get busy with their decisions. just a suggestion, but this could drag out for another bunch of days if a time limit isn't put in place. there has been ampled time provided to all sides, imo.
I'm kinda waiting on this Scoob post that was alluded to. I've tried to reply the same day as whatever post preceded mine so as to be moving things along as quickly as possible. I can post my final post whenever is needed though.

so once digi sneaks in his final post, our match will be done. was a decision reached on the other one? judges will need quite a bit of time to read through, be nice to have decisions made before christmas.
Like I said, I wasn't going for strategic advantage (I only added a couple points after reading Scoob's last post), and it was largely a response to his 9th post. I just didn't want you to have a lot of time to view my 10th post and plot your own final one.
How curious those double standarts work. In your last match with Digi on group stage you were denying any extension with nails and teeth (despite match technically lasting less than two days).
Not wanting to accuse everyone, Blair, my midyear examination sahedule is as busy as yours and inventing excuses that not play to your strategy of "last minute post blitz" is silly.
State the real excuses for not wanting both matches to end at the same time (would be fair to judges and to combatants) apart from not wanting to.
Quite frankly, though, I don't give a damn for the match, and if you want extension for satisfactory reason... feel free to.
