What would people think of Jude Law as Riddler? He's a decent actor and he looks the part if you ask me. If he can get rid of his accent well enough and play the character darker than his previous characters, I think it could work.

Eh I think anyone would guess that a movie with Batman versus the Joker was going to make a good amount of money. Batman's two most successful films period focus on that rivalry. Was there any way to know it would be as massive of a hit as it was? Not really but I think they were well aware that people were anticipating this movie from the moment that the Joker card was flipped over in Begins.

Myth that is the first thought of Jude Law portraying The Riddler. I like some of his work and if you follow Nolan's penchant to hire English actors he would fit. Law is very talented and could fit very into an already established cast.
Yeah, I just came across a picture of him while looking through other movie stuff and it just came to me. And as you said, he just seems like the type of guy Nolan would hire since Nolan has been hiring other English actors.

I think they aimed really low om purpose. The anticipation for this movie has been building for quite some time. That board was the most active board on IMDB.com for over a year. All of this was way before Heath kicked the bucket. Like I said I think they knew it was gonna be big. As massive as it is? No and plus with the viral marketing that they did which had to cost a ton I think they knew they were going to most likely make a bigger haul than that.

I loved the viral marketing campaign that Nolan did for TDK. I'm sure he will come up with something even better for the next one. More film directors should viral campaigns to sell their movies.
