Bane is great for the comics, but for another film version of Bane, right now I cannot see it.. Also he would be way easily defeated..
Only if Batman knows how to do it, which he probably won't at first or for most of the movie, if Bane were to be in Batman 3 that is.

true, true
I just hope Bane is never in another Batman film or maybe if he is, then he should be portrayed much better than he was in Batman & Robin

lol Yeah. They did pretty much everything wrong with the villains in Schumacher's films, especially Bane. He's much more intelligent than how he was made out to be in Batman & Robin, to say the least. Now the one in The Batman series, I didn't mind.
A movie version of that would rock if done right, which is nothing short of what Mr. Nolan's capable of.

Are you ill? Vinnie Jones? Have you seen X-Men 3? Do you quite comprehend how little acting about Vinnie Jones possesses? And he's about 3 feet tall, too...

I liked him in Snatch. And I've heard he's good in The Midnight Meat Train. And he's 6'1", not 3 feet.

Ah, well, close enough...
He's still not good enough an actor, in my opinion, and he definitely can't do an American accent. Plus, he's also been in X-Men, so I doubt DC will use him in anything...

Valid points, I was just throwing that name out there because I think he has a good screen presence and is a decent actor (although he wasn't good in X-Men 3, but then again nearly everything about that movie sucked).

I cannot see another actor portray The Joker the way that Ledger did.. Besides unless Chris Nolan goes back on his word. he is not going to recast The Joker at all
theyre gonna have to bring in a new Joker eventually
if not by Nolan then by somone else in the near future
sure he wont be as good as Ledger but thats because his performance was something new and it perfected the idea of a psycho-clown mass murderer that Nolan wanted but sooner or later someone news gonna have to try it out

yes , that true, but I figure sometime in ten or twenty years when WB wants to redo the character again

I honestly agree that it should be Bane, but I also wanna see the Penguin.
He could be an underground mobster who's not really bad, but not really good. People could look up to the Penguin, since Batman is now Gotham's enemy, and like the Joker had power over Batman, so could the Penguin. Bane is the villain, but only the Penguin knows how to stop him.
I actually like the idea of the Penguin being the new leader of Gotham, what with the Dark Knight and White Knight gone.

very interesting..
I like some of what you are saying..
I really do not want Bane, but if he were done the right way and Nolan certainly can do Bane justice then Bane will be a very likable character from Nolanverse... As for Oswald, Danny Devito did a decent job so if he were re done then there are a few good actors that can make Penguin very good

Nolan wants unseen villains, like Scarecrow and Ras. Bane is virtually unknown and, well, you gotta have the Penguin.
When you ask "Name a Batman villian", unless they know a lot about the series, they will say Joker or Penguin.
