Solid little car, change the oil every 5k and that engine will hit 200K with nigh zero problems along the way (assuming the previous owner(s) wasn't a retard).

It has one Achilles heel, the EGR valve and pipe can become clogged after 100k or so due to poor design; this in turn can lead to increased heat which can lead to early head gasket failure. If you have moderate mechanical ability, a basic socket and several hours to kill on a weekend, you can clean it yourself, there's lots of info and videos on how/to. edit: Most people though, never clean it and are fine. The clogging seems to be more an issue with maintenance, maybe driving habits and/or climate.
