The Legend of Genesis

“Long ago, humans were together with god in a paradise in the sky called Mahanon. The place was protected by the power of god. Humans were never exposed to the fear of the danger of death. However, one day humans entered god’s forbidden garden and ate a fruit which bestowed upon them tremendous intelligence and power. God found out about the incident and the humans were banished from the paradise. The prosperous times were over, an era of sorrow and hatred began...
Humans banished from the paradise were foolish enough to revolt against god. In order to resist the power of god, they created twelve Anima Relics and called themselves gods... For 10 days, 10 nights the world shed its blood, Mahanon was enveloped in flames. But human strength was no match for god and the arrogant humans were destroyed by god’s anger. Only a few righteous men were left on the land. However, god was also tired and wounded. He decided to rest in the deepest depths of the earth. God’s rest was long. But eternity is only a moment to god. Since then, the righteous men who didn’t revolt against god had to live in the harsh nature by themselves, being in constant fear of death....”

The Truth

"This Deus, the one you call god, is an 'inter-planetary invasion weapon system' that was built in ancient times by humans from another planet. It was created as an automatic weapon which could act upon its own will to take control of a targeted planet. But you should've known this much from looking at the Razael records.Anyway, during a test run, Deus became uncontrollable. It released its power and annihilated a whole planet. The creators of 'Deus' found its immeasurable power to be too much of a threat and hence forcibly shut it down. In order to analyze the cause of the problem, its core was dismantled and placed on an inter-planetary emigrant passenger ship to be transported to another planet. Becoming aware of this, the disassembled Deus resisted. It tried to take over the passenger ship that was transporting it. However, as a last line of defense against the escape of Deus, its creators unexpectedly destroyed the whole ship, sending it crashing to this planet. Deus knew that it would not be able to get away from the explosion or the imminent impact and so it detached its core from the 'Zohar' power reactor.”

What remains of the original Deus is found by the party. After the crash, the 10,000-year-old being is rotted and obviously not in top fighting form. Nevertheless, he gives a couple Omnigears and an Omnigear-class mech a fight.

It is said that Omnigears can “destroy whole cities.”

The holy ark of god, the Markeva/Merkabah, is destroyed only to reveal Deus’ true new “ascended” form.

Mind you this was Deus after being beaten by the party and having the Zohar destroyed. Plus for all intents and purposes the real Deus was gone and Elly was just using its power and body. Least that's what I figured.
