Apparently she�s quite a clever woman.
I can�t see chatting to Sarkozy achieving anything, most politicians are good at waffling and doing nothing.

Russia and these break off countries are the ones having a row.
I can�t see the west getting too involved, Russia still has a lot of military might and is like a cat in a corner at the moment.

What worries me is what happened to Chechnya, where whole civilian areas were obliterated if any enemy was in the area. If this tactic is used in Georgia and that area it would be very bad for the civilians.

News here just said America is not planning anything as of yet or threatened (violence) Russia in some manner.

Edit: I personally don't think much will come of this, a lot of dick swinging, poor people will die and then back to business as usual.
