He was hurt badly sure..but he had enough time to take his own speed from Amazo then walk away and faint. That should have been enough time to take away all of his ability to move if he really wanted to save the JLA.

Except Superman has feats that put him at or above light speed so no it wouldn't work. And like I said you take the words of people that make him look weaker that what he has actually shown but somebody says something that he's not shown you won't take it and call it hyperbole. That's why we go by feats not what people say. Superman has moved ftl so yea..saying he can't won't prove anything.

In the Lex 2000 special, he flew from Earth to Saturn in 4 minutes (light takes 19, assuming the optimum configuration of planetary orbits for earth and Saturn to be as close as possible). He flew to Kyle Rayner's position in another star system in a few minutes. He fought Darkseid to the sun in the time it took them to say a few sentences. He escaped a black hole by flying faster than light. I can go on and on here.
