I'm no psychiatrist, but I think that the closeness in the times Broly was forced to listen to Kakarot's never-ending crying and the fact that he and his dad were stabbed and left to die may have sumthin to do with it...
His mind was shattered back when he was a baby. I think Broly's main goal was just to end everything including himself, especially when you think about the legend of the legendary SSJ before him.

Because Dragonball sucked and had no plot, that is why Broly is evil. How would Broly know Goku was the person who cried all the time near him when he was a baby or even remember that anyway? Most japanese crap is pretty stupid if you think about it

its prettyy simple, the LSSJ is abnormally aggressive even for a saiyan, he was foced to liste to Gokus cream day after day as a chuld and was stabbed and left to die with his father, oh then a planet blew up in his face...nice first few days after being born huh...
Well I belive that its his roll as a caracter in dbz...but it could be because he has to much power and like freeza cell and buu and the evil dragons..power sum just cant handle it!

King Vegeta fears the threat the boy has to his empire, and so he gives the order for the infant's death. Broly's father, Paragus, begs the king to spare the child's life, saying that his son could be a great help to King Vegeta and his prince. goku n him where born on the same day n corrupted him with his crying so in a way u can blame goku's crying but in his base form hes very calm n probably not evil
