Uh..well I got to the point where Guts gets his Berserker Armor...can't tell if this dude has extremely good or bad luck considering his predicament.
Also I'm not sure what to think of incarnated Griffith considering his courtious attitude and the fact he no longer appears to hide the fact he uses people.
As a member of the Godhand he can manipulate the minds of mortals and even the flow of causality.
He doesn't have to really hide anything, he is untouchable to any mortal or even higher level supernatural beings. Opposing Femto "would be akin to someone in a story challenging the one who wrote it."
Flow of causality? Causality is the relation between cause and effect, and they're not twisting that relation but rather they subtly influence their environment to further their cause.
Griffith's corporeal body constantly interacted with his environment -- even leading an army into war -- to become king.
The people he influenced weren't necessarily brainwashed either, it's just that Griffith had the cohesive power to present himself as a hero of prophecy.
Void explicitly mentions that they could manipulate it at one point, during the Eclipse I believe. Either that or it was probability, I forget which.
And?
Anyone who meets Griffith immediately wants to serve him and do his will, this is explicitly shown with the pope, whom he manipulated through his dreams.
I'm not sure abut the movie though I did see a bunch of trailers on it.
I'm finally caught up on Berserk and I think I'll make this a favorite of mine. It was nice to see a few dozen chapters where Guts crew goes w/o anyone being nearly raped; shit that must be a reoccuring theme in this series.
I've gone through volume 12, and 13, and I can't find anything suggesting that they have the ability to manipulate it other than the following: Vol. 12, p. 138 and Vol. 12, p. 139.
But that's still rather vague, and it's never specified that they wove it. Besides, they're servants of the Idea of evil, whom may have wove it. Assuming it's literal speech.
Subtle and indirect influences makes it less impressive.
Not quite everyone, disregarding that. The pope was subtly influenced over time, consequently it isn't a direct form of mind control.

Okay I read over the "Mock Eclipse" again where Griffith is reincarnated an I was wondering exactly how this efffect Femto's existence. I mean does Griffiths new body mean that Femto is no longer in the astral plane or is this incarnation just an avatar of sorts for Femto to use in the real world?
Well I guess that makes more sense than Griffith coming back completely human considering how he can alter the perception people have of him and whatnot.
And that's another thing that weirds me out. After Ganishka defeat, does this mean that Femto will soon no longer need the Griffith body to interact with the world or what; and would the removal of the corpoeral and incorpoeral barrier help the other God Hand too?
