I think if you start banning more of the problem posters it would solve things, give them a fresh start say today then if things get outta hand start banning away, 1 2 3 4 bans or more and people will start to realise overusing the report/flame/trolling isn't allowed here at KMC anymore. Not like CBR but if we have to almost get that extreme I'm for it (to save the vs)...

all of the above are fair-minded debators and also classy members of KMC regardless of what side they stand. they also have demonstrated the level of maturity necessary to handle the position of being a mod and the intelligence to separate trivial issues from real issues. I have been mulling a solution to solve this issue. I wonder if it's technically feasible to have reports from the Vs section to only funnel to the mods of the Vs section. That way, other mods won't have to deal with a headache that they're prob often ill-equipped to deal with regardless and therefore would lead to a decrease in hostility towards the Vs forum.

I'm all for this idea. They don't want to deal with this part of the board, they can just ignore it. Give us one or two dedciated globals who will be on this part of the board frequently, and things will improve.

Members shouldn't be voting Mods in. Just like with standard comics settings, bias will eventually settle in.
Whatever the mods have been doing to nominate and choose has worked fine until now...it should continue that way.
