Every band has alter-egos and side-projects! Maybe they want to keep Green Day as one thing and their other ideas out of that.

Anyway if you'd heard 21CB you'd know they have experimented a lot by their standards.

But they have the exact same members. Usually artists start side-[rojects because they want to start a band with some particular other artist(s), or want to make music the other band members don't agree with. FHT and the Network are just Green Day making different music than Green Day.

Well yeah, of course, they want to make different music, but they just want to keep it seperate from their main band. That's hardly a crime, is it?

I think you're just trying to think of any reason you can to bash Green Day by now.
