I don't think any I've ever known has had cancer either, which is odd, since the chances are that most people are meant to know people blah blah

Wait, I do know someone who had cancer. He was a great guy, too.
It is pretty sad, seeing people reduced to that state in such a short time.
I just deal with it the only way I know how to deal with death by now – I know that everyone dies eventually, and that it's natural
Thinking about it any further than that starts bringing me down
