I used IE for most of my life and all it caused was harm
In fact, my old computer single handedly slowly ruined itself due to that program
So don't get started on how shit it is, since it cost me a lot of hard work and a **** load of money.

1. Were you downloading a lot of potentially virus-ridden stuff?
2. What version of IE?
3. How old was this computer?
