Great show! I was just to Billie's right on the rail. There was not a separate IC line but they told us there was going to be so I didn't get there early. Before we found that out, I saw someone I knew near the front, talked to them for a long time and never left. The guys right behind me didn't even have tickets, although they ended up getting in, so they didn't care. That was lucky because Lex came very late and was about the 1000 person in line. I went and found her and her friend and brought them up where I was. They ran to Mike's side and during King for a Day she smacked Billie's ass pretty good. She got one of Mike's picks.
I saw Bob Saget, said hi to Justin Long and Mike Pelino and talked to Kevin Preston briefly after the show. I asked him if the Tubbies were playing the breakfast tomorrow and he said stranger things have happened. Billie walked up to everyone in the front where I was at the end and put picks in our hands, of course the guy behind me grabbed mine and Billie was already gone, good thing I got 2 last night. Tre didn't give out his sticks or throw any in the audience and I didn't see any of the techs give them out either.
They played the abbrieviated version of the new album, I'm so glad I saw the whole thing before up north, and then went into AI. JOS, St. Jimmy then, not in this order, Brat, Coming Clean, Dominated Love Slave, Christie Road, Who Killed Holden Caulfield, She, KFAD and Minority. I have to think about it, there may be another song in there. My location was quiet popular. I had a guy from NJ on my right and another one 2 over on my left. The guy on my right got to go on stage and sing part of Longview, and Billie gave him the typed out lyrics to American Eulogy, I guess he doesn't know it.
When he brought the guy onstage, the guy behind me moved into his place. He was 19 and from Utah and it was his first concert ever. I told him in line it would be pretty much downhill after this. Billie came over, leaned down to us while playing Blue, then held his pick out to us. The guy grabbed it and Bille let him play Blue with the pick while Billie played the chords. He was so excited. He kept holding Blue out towards us so I rubbed it a little.
Kat and djrosstar made it up to the after party, some guy walked downstairs and gave dj his pass, not even knowing who he was. I wanted to go to see if anyone could get me in tomorrow, but there was no way.
There was lots of papparazzi in front of the theater. They were chasing after Billy Bob Thorton to get his picture. Audrina from The Hills was there. I didn't see Drew Barrymore but I heard she was there with Justin
Tre walked over to Jason's piano while Jason was starting to play something slow, and acted like he was cranking it up for a long time to trying to get it to start.
