i think the big thing i wanna do with the Axel character is make him a travel guide because generally he can find something wrong with just about everything

-Democrats for months called for Comey to be fired, resign, etc. and said that he was incompetent and they had no confidence in him. That is also completely not up for debate.
Now, here is where we divert from what a rational human being would do and what others would do. A rational human being would not want someone incompetent in charge of an investigation they find super important. Rational folk would want like...competence, you know?
So they can continue to dial this up to 11 over Comey and get utterly hysterical, call this a "coup de tat" and say he is destroying the constitution, but that is the opposite of what rational folk would do IMO. I also wish they'd stop making fools of themselves calling this "Nixonian" but meh.
Is there anything I just said you disagree with? Genuinely curious if anyone thinks people who think an investigation is important would want a guy they find incompetent in charge. A guy they had no confidence in.
