Saw the first 15min of it, and gave up, with the shakey camera, and documentary feel, I didn't like it. Just like cloverfield ughh!

It's actually nothing like Cloverfield. Should have given it a try, gets really good, solid Sci-Fi.

But i don't like the way it is filmed like a documentary with a hand held shakey camera, maybe when it comes out on DVD or bluray then i will give it a chance.

I was put off by a Cloverfield shooting style comment by some but glad I saw it, it's nothing like it at all. Yes it's documentary style, but not a camera all over the bloody place like in Cloverfield. Don't miss it on the big screen for that reason.

Considering District 9 ends with them naming and referring back to the newly located aliens in "District 10", it is a clever name as a sequel.
Glad they took that route and didn't name it something else.
Not clever, but logical.

That's only the beginning for the most part, camera isn't nearly as shaky as Cloverfield or Blairwitch Project.
You're missing out.

Just watched District 9, at first I thought WTF its some sort of documentary. But as the film developed it got better, could be a sequel too if you consider the ending.
Not all it was hyped up to be, but nevertheless excellent imo

Awesome movie
Very different than most sci fi films and how we think about how aliens could be.
The method of telling the story in the beginning was brilliant and a very uncorny way to tell it.
I'm looking forward to District 10 (If its going to be called that)

You must've been watching something that wasn't "District 9", then.

Maybe he saw District B13... just trying to give him some credit... even though I know it's hopeless. Some people just have bad taste.
