Wow, who is making the assumptions now? No telepath as strong as Xavier in the HP movies? That is stated in the X Men movies? Someone actually says "Damn dude you pwn Dumbledore and Voldy!!!!"
And I guess your sarcasm detector is on a coffee break.

Yeah, it is an opinion, just like DP's disintegration attack being immune to Protego and blocking spells is an opinion.

When he got pwnd in the first movie by the voldy spirit.
And i mean cmon, magic can do anything short of bringing back the dead. Mutants have specific powers which limit them, whereas voldemort, dumbledore and most of the teachers and death eaters have a huge range of spells which with whih to defend against a mutants specific power. Take any of the powerful wizards and math them up with a powerful mutant. The mutant has to use a specific power he has no choice. The wizard can formulate a stategum or simply react to the powers the mutant happens to throw at him.
And what the hell is wrong with my C button. Look at all those c's that didn't type, lol.
Everything in this thread is opinion. Two entirely different worlds are colliding here, wizard versus mutant. There is no way to prove Xavier can mind rape a mutant, just like there is no way to prove blocking spells can protect against DP. I have yet to see one fact here, only assumptions, logical and illogical.

It pertains to any instance when someone dismisses something without fully considering it with full objectivity.
Like someone assuming that Xavier will be able to tear through Occlumency with ease.
Like someone assuming that DP will be able to disintegrate all wizards in the blink of an eye, even before ONE of them can death spell her.
Like someone assuming that Protego or a blocking spell will not protect a wizard from DP.
These all are assumptions without any real merit.

No, it is an assumption because it is assuming that she can get past their defensive and blocking spells.

Exactly, we see plenty spells blocking oncoming attacks in the HP movies. Like the voldemort dumbledore fight. We see no desintigration going through any type of force field in X3
Protego (Shield Charm)
Description: The Shield Charm causes minor to moderate jinxes, curses, and hexes to rebound upon the attacker.
Seen/Mentioned: First seen in 1995, in which Harry is taught this spell by Hermione in preparation for the third task in the Triwizard Tournament. Fred and George Weasley enchanted hats they dubbed "shield hats" with this spell in 1997.
Etymology: Latin protego, "I cover" or "I protect".
Notes: The original description of this spell states that it rebounds minor jinxes to the caster. However, it is shown in the books that it can also be used to reflect or lessen the effects of more powerful spells, depending on the skill of the caster. In 1998, it is also shown to be able to create a sort of force-field across an area, and is used frequently to prevent two participants in an argument from reaching each other.
Protego Horribilis
Description: A powerful shield charm against dark magic.
Seen/Mentioned: Cast by Professor Flitwick in an attempt to strengthen the castle's defences in the Battle of Hogwarts.
Etymology: Latin Protego, "I protect", and Horribilis, "horrible , frightful, dreadful".
Protego Totalum
Description: Casts a sheild charm over a small area that will not let anything pass through.
Seen/Mentioned: In 1997, this was one of the spells used by Hermione Granger and Harry Potter to protect their camp site from unwanted visitors.
Etymology: Latin protego meaning "to protect" and Latin totus meaning "as a whole".
Whoomp there it is.
