((Alright, I'm tired of waiting too, so am rewinding time and not finding Exile.))

Richard ran through the forest, trying to follow the music, but ended up at the mouth of the forest again. "Welcome back!" the girl with green hair said again. "Did you catch that strange man?"

((I should prolly hit the rewind button too, if your character got spat out of the forest again Rosalinde probably would have ran into him))

Rosalinde airily climbed the thick vines wreathing the wall, silently praying to whoever would listen that this wasn't just another dead end, and Saria truly knew where Link was.
Else she'd probably have to go travelling all over Hyrule looking for some trace of him.

She could faintly hear music from above, emanating from the dense forest with apparent ease. How deep did that music run? she wondered, but her thoughts were cut short when she climbed up off the vines and stood up, finding that damn Hylian again.

"Am I going to run into you ever step of my journey? Because this could get annoying," Rosalinde remarked as she walked over to him and the Kokiri.

Richard turned when he heard a voice behind him, only to see the Gerudo again. "You again?" Richard rubbed his eyes, he was getting a headache which he blamed on having to continually see this dreg "Why in Din's name are you here again? Why can't you just go back to your little fortress or, better yet, rot in the desert?"

After all that had happened in the past few days, the last thing Richard wanted was to see one of those damned Gerudo again. He turned away and started back into the forest when a thought occored to him, He hadn't seen Leonidas since his fight with Gohma...

"Apparently you have a short memory," Rosalinde said idly as she was still pretty much considered an outcast, "What are you doing around here anyway? I thought you disappeared in a ring of light."

She honestly was curious, also wondering why she kept crossing paths with him, she just wanted to find this Link and get Nabooru freed!
Though she hadn't the first clue on how to fight a pair of witches, even if she did get the silver gauntlets in the end.
What was physical effort compared to magic? Even Nabooru couldn't figure out how to avoid capture, it wasn't a pleasant notion that Rosalinde was set to fail.

"Meh, both of them had a quick and painless end for your continued appearances in my life, so either choice would be acceptable." Richard said as he headed back toward the forest. "Now, if you will excuse me, I have a lost ally and mysterious interloper to find."

((Should be fine, haven't really got many people, just need a way of meeting up with our charries and all's well in my opinion, tho mandrag is the owner of this thread so yeah))

Rosalinde just shrugged.
"I don't know why I bothered talking to you, I'm losing touch with my Gerudo-side," Rosalinde said, idly sprinting off ahead into the forest, she'd wasted enough time with that damn Hylian, it was time to find Saria, so follow the music it was.

She felt so light on her feet as she ran, as if she weighed substantially less than she actually did, it made running so easy and quick, it almost felt like she glided through the air instead of walk.
The melody sounded somewhat muffled, probably a result of travelling through so many trees yet it didn't seem all that loud for how far it was reaching.

((Sorry, I have been away from home for a while))

Jon began to inch his way back from the wolfos, an iron gate was all that stood between him and a chance to live.

((Well, it's about time, Exile. I was wondering if you were ever going to show up again. Now, if I find you again, will you be there to respond this time?))

Richard ducked behind a tree as a sword came down where he had been standing only a moment before. He cursed as he removed his own blade from it's scabbard, swinging it at the skeletal creature before him, but his sword rebounded harmlessly off of the Stalfos' shield. He rebounded around another tree, only to clash swords with another stalfos. He cursed again as he backed away from the two stalfoses, which were gaining on him, hungry for their prey.

Jon began to reach in his pockets for anything he might use to distract the beast as the invisible circle it had put him in grew smaller and smaller.

Richard ducked and rolled as two swords chopped into the tree where his head had just been. As he pulled himself smoothly to his feet he swung his sword through the left leg of the nearest stalfos, severing it completely.

The stalfos fell to the ground, yet continued crawling toward Richard. Richard cursed through gritted teath as he ran forward, and crammed his sword through the stalfos' skull, and ran it down it's spine, splitting the beast in half.

The stalfos fell to the ground and burst into blue flames as Richard turned to the remaining stalfos.

Rosalinde easily glided through the forest with her scimitars out, straining her ears listening for the direction of the music. She could also hear a few creatures chasing her but they seemed too slow to keep up, and on the occasion one appeared before her, Rosalinde leaped clear over it and continued on her way.

Killing monsters wasn't the job of a thief, she'd fight when she had to and not before.
The music grew clearer and clearer by the second, until she had reached an unspoken barrier and it felt like someone had taken coverings off her ears as the music sounded clear and rich, this place had to be its source, therefore this Saria must be here somewhere.

She saw a man being closed in upon by a strange wolf creature, not paying a great deal of attention to it as she was the iron gate barring her path.

Rosalinde easily leaped over the Wolfos, then the human, sprinted a few steps and half ran up the gate, leaping and catching hold of the bars near the top, roughly climbing up.

Jon looked up to see a woman jump right over him and the wolf. He did nothing but stare for a second, this being the first full sized person he had seen since hiding in the clock tower. Then he realized that he still had a wolf to deal with.

"Hey," he shouted after her, "your not going to help!??!"

She climbed over the fence by this point and had disappeared into some sort of maze. Where ever he was, the people here didn't seem friendly.

At this point he had spotted a long stick resting a few feet away from him in tall grass. Now, if only he could get to it....

Rosalinde paused a moment as she swung over the top of the gate, hearing that man call out to her. She shrugged at first, not really caring as it wasn't really her problem, Wolfos were rather formidable at times but they were still animals at heart, completely predictable.

"It's a Wolfos, and it's on the other side of this gate," Rosalinde pointed out, about to head off.
Something deep inside was screaming at her, powerful enough to stop her dead in her tracks, her eyes glanced around as if trying to look for it but couldn't find anything.
There was a part of her that wanted to help...? Now Rosalinde was incredibly confused, she was a Gerudo and that man clearly wasn't, she shouldn't have to care what happens to him, especially after meeting Richard and having a sword pointed at her half the time.
Her footsteps felt heavier for some strange reason, she'd suddenly lost that gliding feeling the moment she went to leave the man behind.
What was going on...?

She felt herself turn around and face the gate once more, the feeling slowly returned, and she quickly scaled the gate and leaped clear into the air, stabbing a scimitar beside the man and brandishing the other.

"Take the scimitar, let's spread out and circle it, whoever it doesn't concentrate on is to attack," Rosalinde said, watching the Wolfos carefully, still not 100% sure why she was doing this.

Richard swung his sword in an arc, severing the Stalfos' arms and head, then turned the sword back in a low swipe, severing it's legs. The stalfos fell to the ground, igniting into blue flames.

He turned and saw a large opening in the trees in front of him, then heard a man scream "Hey, your not going to help?" coming from the opening, followed by a blood-curtling howl.

Richard dashed through the opening to see the stranger and that blasted greudo facing a wolfos again. Her again he thought as he readied his sword to help, he was going to find out who this guy was, and then he would finally be able to take the flower to the scientist at Lake Hylia. His thoughts turned to Leonidas, he hoped he made it out of the Deku tree ok, but the princess was more important now. He would discover Leo's fate once his mission was complete.

Jon shot the woman a grateful smile and prepared his scimitar for the battle. The wolfos seemed to notice her now and began to stop its circling. The three combatants seemed to be in a counter-clockwise circle themselves. The wolfos attention on both the woman and Jon.

Richard ran forward, swinging his blade at the Wolfos, which jumped to the side, causing Richard's sword to stick into the ground. He cursed as he wrenched his sword from the ground. He turned as the Wolfos lept through the air, landing on him, forcing him to the ground, and sending his sword flying through the gaps in the locked gate. He looked up into the open mouth of the Wolfos, and smelled it's rancid breath as it lunged forward at Richard's face.

((Incase anyone was wondering, no, I did not just kill of my character. Just letting someone save my life. big grin))

((Here I come to save the day!!))

Jon lowered his shoulder and launched himself forward, knocking the beast to the ground. His scimitar in his right hand struck the beast in an arc to its neck. For one second the animal's eyes flared with hatred, then its neck slumped into the tall grass surrounding it, the body following later.

Rosalinde saw Richard appear yet again and inwardly sighed, partly wishing she had just left this man to his fate and continued. She still couldn't quite figure out what was going on, when she was going to just leave the man she'd suddenly felt like she'd lost something, the Great Fairy seemed to have granted her a strange floating feeling where she was able to move faster, yet it disappeared when she tried to follow her Gerudo instincts.

How was that supposed to work? An ability that shut off everytime she stopped being what she was? Quite infuriating...

Rosalinde was a little further away from Richard than the other man, so she kept back and let him deal with rescuing Richard from his own folly. Typical Hylian, she thought, now he's completely disarmed.

"Well, now that we're all happy and alive," Rosalinde began, looking at the second man she didn't know, "Give my scimitar back, I've wasted too much time here."
