I wasn't critiquing the films tech. I was pointing out that they never say how it works. Even if the filmmaker himself tells you after the fact, no on screen feats are there to back it up. Spells however are by and far specific. Lumos makes you wand light up for example.
All the ways you wish you could be, that's me. I look like you wanna look, I **** like you wanna ****, I am smart, capable, and most importantly, I am free in all the ways that you are not.
We do see it actually, as nothing of Earth tech could power a lightsabre, fire non-beam laser blast, travel at greater than lightspeeds etc. etc. etc. etc.
Ergo, it isn't regular electrical voltage, not even nuclear powered. It's something completely different and super-advanced.

Ill agree with you on that point, tho we can only as far as to say that. Not specifically how it DOES work. Thats all i ever meant to point out. I never conceded to one side or the other.

Do tell me which aspects of our technology(electrical, nuclear etc) could power a lightsabre and have it do what it does, make a gun fire a non-beam laser blast and make a ship travel at greater than light speeds. Proceed.
(nevermind that Wiki counts as a supplement and Jaden already buried your points)
What you are saying is the same as saying that Fire in the SW universe is different than fire here, or that oxygen is different on Coruscant than here, or saying that water is wetter there than it is here.
The starships are all driven by advanced COMPONENTS, not by some uber SW electricity. Electricity is electricity, plain and simple. The engines themselves and the advanced technology is what makes them do what they do, not a different type of electricity.

No, not electricity at all actually. Did you not read the wiki pages that Jaden and you yourself posted? You really think a lightsabre is powered by a couple of Duracles?
Lightsabers are powered by the crystal and components within, the electricity activates these components.
I brought up the spell, I backed it with facts about lightsabers and the walkers, wiki links that stated they rely on electricity. You are saying "No, I dont think it's the same type of electricity."
Prove it. Prove me wrong. Prove that the SW galaxy has electricity so much more different than ours. All you are stating is what you THINK.

Look at all those components. All the wiring. A diatium power cell is trumponium gas powered, but the wiring has electricity running through it. The modulation circuits, field energizers, the energy channels, these all surely rely on electricity.
The links proved that they rely on electricity. You are saying it is a different type of electricity. Again I ask, where is your proof that it is different?

Lightsabres are powered by "power cells", which produce plasma energy, which isn't electricity. A lightsabre is a blade of pure plasma. Just because there are wires, it doesn't mean electrical current is running through them, see fiber optics as one real-life example.
There's your proof. You also didn't answer my question, where is this supposed "electricity" coming from, which part?
Edit: From wookiepedia, the Diatium Power cell section: "If assembled correctly, a power cell could last indefinitely and require no further maintenance from the operator." So, unless you know of "electricity" that is plasma and ever self sustaining, it's time to eat crow, friend.
You've been thoroughly spanked, just accept it. Time for a new gimp-angle.
An inert power insulator was one of the many components of a lightsaber hilt. It provided a means of insulating the power cell of a lightsaber from the handle itself, thus preventing any leakage from electrocuting the weapon's owner, due to its composition of matter that did not conduct electrical current.
Any questions? Yeah, thought not.

How can you prove that they ARENT some kind of fibre optics..?
You can't. And advanced tech to get speed of transferrance will use whatever to get information from point a to point b at maximum warp..
Given how faulty wiring can be, I cant see these lightsabre wielding, FTL traveling guys utilising some wiring bought from some shitty backwater radio shack in Austin.
The resistance/impedance issues are another reason for alternate forms of cabling/"Wiring" to be employed.
Now enjoy this, wont you. You earned it with that diabolical attempt and the accompanied sickening smugness that went with it...
Consider it a gift for your legendary collection. (please log in to view the image)

Nah, I was just giving Rob a taste of his own medicine. Take it how you like.
And:
You call it gimping.
I call it facts. Just another fact that proves a wizards power is practically limitless. The protection spell is a weapon, just like a blaster or a walker or a lightsaber.
Let's say Anakin had a force power that negated all spells a wizard can throw at him and his clones. You can bet your sweet ass he'd cast it.
Y'all come back now, ya hear?

Dead wizards dont cast spells. Hogwarts still gets caved in by Anakin's force abilities and the many manyyyyy manyyyy manyy blaster cannons/rifles..
Come back...? To the land of make believe that you live in...?
We were never there in the firstplace.
Cracks me up how bad you must save your friend Harry and that youve had to gimp it sooooo long and hard to get him to where you would liked to see him in the earlier fight scenarios..
You must wuvs him a lot n' stuff.
But no he dies very quickly.
