Their fight in Quasar's book, right? Q was using SS's own energy against him, drained him of an entire star's worth of power to fuel his own powers, and SS didn't even notice it.
I like Q more...I'm just not sure that Kril wouldn't win. He's beaten SS and Thor before and isn't a particular slouch in the PC department.

can't recall if it was a 'star's worth' off-hand, but yeah, q was draining him pretty easily. in that fight though ss was going pretty much all out and q was going easy. ss never hurt q in that battle until wendell decided to let him win.
i've never really liked quasar all that much--he was all right, and there were a couple decent arcs, but i found him far too blatant a gl ripoff. still, his versatility should give him a heavy majority in this battle i'd think.

he wasn't 'clearly shown superior'. q wasn't really even upset. ss got in some shots, q got in some shots, but ss was getting po'd then wendell LET him win.
it was a stalemate, but to me, ss was taking things more seriously then q who didn't even want to take part in the battle at all, while ss was more than willing to do so.
Quasar character hardly gets upset. This does not equate to he wasn't trying to win. Him armoring up , the fact that the universe/multiverse would be gone if he looses is fact enough he was trying to win.
How is it a stalemate when Surfer didn't even get hurt while Quasar had to shield up because he couldn't take his blows and even then he was still hurt. While surfer was unfazed even after Quasar used his own powers against him.
I'll have to agree with kgkg on this one. The fight seems to show Surfer not really dominating the match but steadily gaining the advantage (as indicated by Order being shown to grow a few times) even before he figured out that he was fighting for the wrong side (I really doubt he would hold back at the start considering the fate of the universe was at stake).
Also, Q had the wind knocked out of him several times while the SS seems to be unfazed by most of Q's attacks.
However, there is no clear victor as Q clearly made him win in the end.

I don't like many GLs, so Quasar was my happy alternative. And I think he's solidly better than most, if not all, of them.
