your assuming because I think Batman is better in the Situation that I like him better then McClane? No McClane is bad ass Even in DH 1 but the Fact is Batman is better situtated for that situation.

^_^ Honestly I like McClane better then Batman. I just like facts. If I can be proven wrong I dont mind it. Heck ive even changed my answer before on many occasions.

but anyway I still say Batman. Batman goes in ready to go up against Terrorist... Through the entire thing McClane is still wondering what the hell is happening and im sure seeing a guy in a black bat suit will make it worse.
That aside, if it was Hand to Hand then Batman wins... but thats not the case...
If McClane had a clear shot and Batman had no where to take cover then McClane... but thats not the case either. There are plenty of places to hide and take cover from gun fire or even McCane would of died early in the movie.
Whos to say they dont meet in an open area? And h2h i am not even going to debate that McClane would lose. But like you said it's not H2H, and Its pretty hard to dodge a bullet coming at your face from someones whos a pretty damn good shot.

I think you misunderstand: One batman punch is just as powerful as a one SUV crash from McClane.

This is already an ad populum debate. Almost every single one of these are that kind of debate. Very few end up with physics being used, respective movie universe law, physiology, etc. Those debates are usually limited to myself and Jaden.
The majority of these vs. threads are reduced to ad populum: many jump on a band wagon if it has enough support. If both sides have adequate support, they jump on the bandwagon for those people who they like the most. Couple that with people going for whichever character they like the most, if the debate is close enough.

so has it been stated what type of police officer he is specifically? according to wiki hes police officer as well as a detective leading me to believe hes somewhat more important?

I think McClane is a very intelligent man who adapated quickly to his situation and made it seem like he had been using automatics for a while.

i dunno. ive used a few automatics and if youre not used to using one the recoil will wreck you. the fact that mcclane handled the weapon as soon as he picked it up as well as he did imo speaks for his experience with automatic guns.
