As an assassin it was often hard to pick targets, things often got very complicated when determining threat levels and results of various plans, Jocelyn sat there thinking in the shadows catching her breath quietly from her previous technique.
Eliminating some of the guards did sound fairly solid, as this 'Princess' had a strange feeling about her, Jocelyn would have to be 100% sure if she wanted to kill her. Now was a fairly good opportunity but Jocelyn sensed it wasn't good enough, no hiding places, no real knowledge on 'vampires', she needed to do some recon first.
She idly climbed onto the tavern's roof and hid amongst the shadows there, silently watching, waiting for the opportune moment.
A winged vampire slammed to the ground in front of princess Kaspar, an ancient blade grasped tightly in his hands. His eyes were hidden behind a cloth, that did not let any light through and did not show his eyes. His skin was like onyx and his right arm had ancient runes, the same as on the blade, going from the shoulder to the wrist. "If you plan to fight her, you'll have to fight me. That's not a good idea.. because the good Princess just gave me my uninhibited power back."

Princess Kaspar pushed herself to her feet, eyeing Marie through the crowd of soldiers surrounding her. Marie bowed her head and quietly ushered Zoe and Luna. She spoke calmly with a terrible gleam in her eyes. "Hold... Don’t waste your time. If they wish to play hero, then let the games begin." She pulled herself back up into the saddle, revealing a burn on her right arm, and a gash running from her right shoulder down to the small of her back. Her movement showed no sign of pain. "Well Marie. I will see you bright and early tomorrow." She turned her attention to the throng of humans on the streets. "People of Tomos! There is a ball tomorrow night at my home. Humans and vampires are invited." She grinned and gave her horse a kick. "Dress to impress." Marie sighed and fell to her knees.
Zoe watched with a glare as Princess Kasper rode off. "I could've killed that Vampire witch. After what happened to my family..." she whispered to Marie and Luna.
The young woman bowed her head and closed her tearful eyes, with anger and sorrow.

Luna raised her brow as princess Kasper started to ride off and wasn't too pleased with the idea of getting all dolled up for a ball when she didn't trust her one little bit... but would play along with this and prepared herself for anything that was coming ...for this was probably a trap.
