lionel's powers cover a broader veriety of effects, but they work by touch also. elixer is just the living version of that dead character...and he's a hero whereas lionel was a villain.

if they were to touch each other though, lionel might be able to recover from elixer's death touch, but the body warp lionel could do to elixer can't be fixed.
