Mike Haggar

A former street fighter and wrestler turned Mayor of Metro City.

Noted as the star of the Final Fight series, Haggar has been described as both iconic and one of the most unforgettable characters in gaming history.

His sense of justice and brutal strength makes him a deadly adversary...
He seems to become stronger with age.

Axel Stone

An ex-cop with a focus on Martial Arts..
He was the technical fighter in Streets of Rage 1 & 2, and the powerhouse in Streets of Rage 3.

Noted as the star of the Streets of Rage series, he is skilled in all areas: speed, strength, and technical fighting.

He comes from a wealthy family background. A local syndicate kills his family members, leaving him to exact revenge on the syndicate.

Yeah! I think so too.
Haggar wins for being the best Politician in video games.

Honestly tho, this could probably go either way, considering the fact that both are the main protagonist for their respective titles.

Haggar became stronger, but so did Axel..
Axel took a huge leap, from being a technical fighter to a powerhouse.

Trivia: Mike Haggar and Zangief are rivals. Zangief ripped off Haggar's trademark Spinning Lariat, and in retaliation Haggar ripped off Zangief's Screw Piledriver.

Axel's gonna wish he was fighting Cody once Big Mike gets through with him.

Oh, and also, Final Fight's gonna be on the PSN next year!

Just checked. It's also coming on Xbox Live as well. Mikey was also a wrestler in Saturday Night Slam Masters along with his daughter. He was also in NamcoxCapcom.

Good. It'll be nice to play the real Final Fight without Poison&Roxy getting replaced with gay dudes and Rolento's stage being cut. And Guy will be playable.

Yeah, the Dragon punch special and the Rising Dragon uppercut.

SoR3 has this haxxor cheat that lets you use Super Axel, where you can repeatedly Dragon punch the shit out of your opponents without the risk of health drainage.

Yep, Super Axel, that super is wild and knocks them down even if he misses. Too bad it wasn't invincible too, but that'd be even more broken. Did you use super skate.

Yes I did. But his range sucks. Super Zan seems to be better because of the reach advantage.

Btw I still think Mike Haggar takes this. In Final Fight 3, his damage output is much more than Axel in SoR 3 (non-Super version).
