and honestly i don't believe that.
but your more then welcome to.
but either way even if they did do it because they thought it was no big deal it still wouldn't change my opinion about this topic and how i don't believe peter parker should be black.
And id agree if his name was Petrovski Parkerus from russia, nephew of Benitri Parkerus. With his blonde blue eyed look and his 6ft3 muscular russian bear physique.
But he and american Newyorker, in a high school kids inner city tale. HE COULD BE ANY COLOUR and the story would fit. Because of the setting is what im saying.

i understand but disagree....heck tobey maguire's eyes are blue and his hair is brown. spider-man has hazel/blue(depending on how he's drawn) eyes and brown hair.
if tobey would have been blond and brown eyes then i would have wanted either hair dye and contacts or to pick someone else.
why you ask? because detail is important to me. to me the smallest of detail can sum up a character.
this is peter parker to me and most comic fans.
Brown hair
Blue eye's
around 5'9
skinny white male
nerd with glasses
that's peter parker and any change in any of that detail is no longer peter parker.
im not gonna challenge you or call you stupid for our difference in opinion. I understand you position but i want everyone to understand mine and everyone else that agrees with me. stay true with source material.
All the ways you wish you could be, that's me. I look like you wanna look, I **** like you wanna ****, I am smart, capable, and most importantly, I am free in all the ways that you are not.
What? If most comic fans only know Peter on a physical scale then they're not fans at all. Peter hasn't wore glasses since like the 60s, he's also not skinny, he has a normal fit build.

I not once said that the ONLY way people know peter parker but that is what his physical details are known as.....sure there's more to the character then his details but that changes nothing about what i said.
He doesn't wear glasses nor is he skinny. So even if you're just talking on a physical scale then you're still wrong. He even lost the glasses in the movies once he got powers so him not having those glasses anymore in the comics or movies means that the first three Spider-Man movies weren't Spider-Man movies at all?
He lost the need for glasses in the comics a long time ago. He eventually had organic web shooters and when he got bit he actually gained some muscle, not still some small feeble human. When was the last time you read a Spider-Man comic?

well my collection of spider-man rounds to a little over 310....all of which are oldies....mostly my only contact with spidy in comics have been in the avengers recently....although i do know of the changes he went through...so just like the organic web shooters i will never think its right to make him black.
heres afew questions for some folks who dont have a problem with spiderman being black
would you rather see spider-man as a white guy or black guy
would you rather see storm as a white girl or black girl
would you rather see nickfury as a white guy or black
would you rather see captain america as a white guy or black
would you rather see fat albert as a white guy or black
just answer which race in those 5 questions dont need to give your reason.
Doesn't matter
Black given her bio/background and how closely she is tied to Africa and how they all revere her and how BP wouldn't marry her if she was white.
Doesn't matter
White he is supposed to be the embodiment of the American dream and life, blond hair blue-eyed, White. Something like that.
