Yeah, I recall S1, still doesn't mean that being alone can't be an advantage in a given situation. Michonne was alone for a length of time; it served her well enough.
Thinking about it, Carol's also been resourceful since Season 1. She's the one that saved the group from being trapped in the CDC.

To clarify, i think it's a great way to bolster their workforce, but considering they're raping the people they save, I highly doubt any of them will have the cop's back when people with guns show up to wreck shit. Give any of those women a gun, and they'd liking shoot the cops sooner than help them in a fight.
^ Post-crisis Rick has been an unyielding bringer of death. I'd assume he'll be particularly brutal with the Hospital faction, considering they've abducted, and presumably raped, members of his 'family'.

the doctor is the only one i can see joining the group, the rest will likely die... the rapist due to, well, being rapists, the HBIC will die due to her ego.
Yeah, a doctor would be an invaluable addition to the group. They had one(two if you could Hershel) at the Prison, but that didn't last long... Though I don't think the Hospital doctor is as 'harmless' as he seems.
Also, out with one black, in with the new. Tbh, the black/white ratio has been the most consistent part of this show over the years. It's almost comedic at this point.

Exactly. Once Chris Rock Jr. and Daryl tells Rick that the cops are capturing people for slave work/rape purposes and that Beth and Carol are there, he's going into full bloodrage.
It's amazing that Rick and the gang have survived the zombie apocalypse for so long, considering they are probably the worst shots I've ever seen in television. They make the classic 'A Team' look like phucking snipers by comparison.
